Cafè Singko — Restaurant in 2nd District

I’ve always preferred local coffee shops over big corpos who support shady wars; so when my sister brought me to this place, it was a pleasant surprise. Currently based in Taiwan where local coffee shops are at a whole different level, this place instantly became my fave place in Las Pinas. I only had 5 weeks here in the metro, but I kept coming back to this place. I prolly ate here 5-6 times.

Food: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Everything was great. I love how perfectly curated their menu is—not overwhelming, just right. You can get your caffeine fix or have a full dinner. I love their wings, their breakfast bowls, their sandwiches, their pastries, their coffee, and their homemade sodas. The serving portion of their food is also perfect—not too big, not too small. I’d argue that the price is comensurate with the delish gastro experience you’ll ger :)

Place: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s a nice quaint, unassuming cafe from the outside, and a cozy, pretty place in the inside—like a library mixed with your living room that will always make you feel at home. I’ve been here for breakfast, merienda, and dinner. The atmosphere is top tier all day long, but as a morning person, 9 am breakfast is the best time to visit.

Seats, tables, washroom were comfy, clean, and aesthetic.

Also, I felt this cafe is such a safe space for anyone—LGBTQIA+ included.

Service:❤️❤️❤️❤️ This should be a perfect 5. The staff are always nice, Cheska (I hope I spelled that right) even allowed us to stay and wait for the opening one morning because we were too early.

However, weekend nights can get really busy. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes for food and then another 20 minutes for additional orders. They were very apologetic and honestly we didn’t mind waiting because the food was good; but I want this to be an honest review so beware of long waits when the cafe is full.

Quality food, drinks, and service! 🤗 The baristas are so friendly. The price of their items is just right. I love their fries, really flavorful and the dip is amazing. Their pasta also is so good, you can taste the truffle flavor. They will even give you a parmesan cheese shaker to add to your pasta. 😋 I would recommend this place! 💖

Update: Came back here in January 2025 after they renovated. They expanded so the area is now more spacious. It can cater to more customers. I learned that they offer decaf to their caffeinated drinks which is nice.

Their food is on the pricier side compared to other nearby coffee shops (PHP 250++ for most of their food items). I only ordered 3 items and my bill was already around PHP 700++. However, the quality and quantity of their food are worth the price.

I ordered the 🍅 tomato and 🌿 herb pasta. It tasted fresh and delicious! I couldn't finish my bowl. Their skin on fries was delicious and filling.

Cafe Singko is undeniably one of the best spots in BF Resort. Since their renovation, the ambiance has truly elevated, offering a refreshing and cozy atmosphere perfect for either studying or just unwinding with friends. On the menu, their Bellagio Chocolate is a standout—rich, indulgent, and simply irresistible. The Smashed Burger is another must-try, packed with flavor and satisfying in every bite. And of course, their Potato Crisp has always been a personal favorite, with its perfect balance of crunch and seasoning.

While some may find their prices on the higher side, I’d argue that the quality of food and the overall experience make it well worth it. Whether you're there for a quick snack or a longer hangout, Cafe Singko delivers great value for money. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area looking for a chill and relaxing...
