The Tiger Alley Cafe — Restaurant in Alfonso

Our dining experience here was extremely disappointing :( We were confused if we went to the right place based on the good reviews from 2yrs ago. It seems the quality of both food and service significantly declined since then. Given the past reviews, the online menu, and the high price, we expected a better experience. Instead, it felt like an overpriced carenderia. We weren't served water; instead there was a small self-service station with disposable plastic cups. The utensils were flimsy and the plates were dusty! Their kare kare was floating in soup, which was not what I imagined or craved. The honey garlic chicken wings were so-so and definitely not worth the price. On a positive note, the staff were kind and accommodating, but overall, the experience was not what we expected. Great place to unwind specially with family and love ones. First impression is that they have great customer service. The staff are very friendly, courteous and welcoming. Food is great, love the sisig, pasta and grilled meats. Must try their coffee and the best seller tsokolate de batirol. It is worth the price and worth the long drive.
