We made a reservation yesterday for our family. It was our last lunch together with our baby girl, and we don't know when we'll all be together again. This lunch was supposed to be very special for us.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The servers were not smiling and seemed like they didn't enjoy what they were doing.
We also had an issue with one of the orders. The burger was supposed to be medium well, but it was served medium rare. We sent it back, of course, but after 20 minutes, it came back the same — the outside was dark, but the inside was still very raw. My uncle didn’t send it back again because he had already lost his appetite, so he just ate it as it was.
We repeated our order to the server, and he repeated it back to us. However, he still missed one item — the Aligue pasta. I waited while everyone else was already eating, except for my uncle and me, because my pasta wasn’t served, and the burger also took a long time.
The ambiance was nice and relaxing, but the staff didn’t feel very welcoming — except for the guard outside, who greeted us kindly.
Also, since they have an open kitchen, we noticed they don’t follow proper color coding for chopping boards. The blue chopping board, which is supposed to be for raw fish, was used to cut cherry tomatoes. That’s very wrong and can lead to cross-contamination. On top of that, they even placed a plate directly on the chopping board, which is also unacceptable. My boyfriend is a chef at a five-star hotel, so we were expecting more in terms of food safety and hygiene.

Read moreWe celebrated our father's birthday here and was pleasantly surprised by this place plus they have good parking and roadside access fortunately we witnessed their occasional art exhibits which adds already to their awesome ambiance.
Now on to the food. The food was really good we had Taco Salad, Aloha Pizza, Chicken Steak, Aligue Pasta and Wild Mushroom soup we were not dissappointed with any of them their prices justifies the fresh and quality ingredients they use even the hot sauce is home made ala blender using real tomatoes without MSG and additional flavorings. I also tried their Hazelnut Choco Frappe and it was great with generous serving size and price you cant beat since i have been to all the cafe in Amadeo so there's no need to hop to a nearby cafe for coffee as they already offer quality coffee on their menu.
It goes without saying that their speciality is their artisanal breads evident by the quality of their pizza and sourdough bread on their pasta we regret not ordering their artisanal freshly baked baguette but meh maybe next time.
All in all we would rate Ricardo's 5/5 stars. and would highly recommend dining here if you are traversing the Amadeo-Silang Area.

At first we come in around 12:15 we understood that there is a limited space. We was seated on that couch thought it is a waiting area. However the waiter came and took our order. We asked if this were we dine our lunch he said yes mam sir. We can wait for a table. Din sabi sa amin wala pa po. Sabi ko it is okay we can wait. Tapos there i a available just needed to be clean up. Kaso lang bigla naman kaming sinabihan mam sir may table po sa labas kong okay lang sa inyo. Sabi okay good we can sit outdoor. After 15 minutes lumapit na Ng waiter to take our order. So i just make a joke , ikaw lang yata mag isa gusto mo tulongan na kita. Sabi oo nga po ako lang kasi nag set up po sila for birthday function. After we did our order we pansin na 45 minutes na di pa kami na bigyan nang order namin which is uncommon talaga kasi 5 table lang naman occupied. Then lumapit yong isa sa mga nag decorate nang function baka Head nila or i don’t know. Nagtanong kong di pa bah daw dumating ang order. Sabi nang misis ko wala pa. Now meron silang binigay na bread para bang just to compensate the long wait. Then our order little by little dumating,first the drinks which almost na natunaw ang ice dahil sa tagal nang foods, then dumating ang order ni misis. Sa palagit naan while waiting may dumating ba band baka kumakanta sila every table. So first song we enjoyed we even sing along with them. Now my daughter request one song from Tailor Swift, while they are singing biglang lumapit yong isang kasama sa mga nag decorate nang function hall nila sabi sa amin MAM SIR LIPAT PO TAYO kasi kailangan namin mag decorate dito sa area na ito. So nag tinginan kaming tatlo so sabi ko ano ito sa palagit naan nang kumakainin ang customer biglang paalisin, at sabay biro ko di pa nga tapos yong kanta paalisin agad, So we do not have a choice lumipat kami. Tapos pumasok kami sa loob we have to wait at least 3 to 4 minute standing dahil hindi pa ready ang table “di bah kakaasar” So i have to make a comment to the waiter “ ano pakakaininin nyo pa bah kami” i just really want to control my emotions so i won’t make scandalo. The waiter just apologize which is why not we accept and try to continue and enjoy the meal. While seating we are still waiting for the order guess what the waiter said sorry po dahil yong order nyo natagalan dahil frozen po kasi yong isda . I said it is okay have it done so we can go. Wait for another 5 minutes the. our order arrived. When the food arrived i don’t believe the fact na frozen dahil hindi po cya talaga. It is so sad that we are experiencing this kind of situation. But what we can do about it first is come to the restaurant with my slippers, sando, and haggard ang mukha yong asawa ko naman medyo wala pang hilamos! anak ko naman di pa kasi nag suklay. I mean a very low class people. That is what we felt. That is a common gesture sa mga restaurant. Sabay biro ko nalang sa disappointed wife and daughter ko na no worry pag manalo ako nang Lotto pasarado ko nang tatlong araw ang Ricardo dahil doon tayo kakain nang tatlong araw. walang ibang mag makapasok.
