I’m a bit biased with the food taste rating since their kuhol sa gata is my fave! Limited options but their kuhol and karekare is yummy enough for me to go back :) It’s been > a year when I last ate at Cabalen. It’s better to eat here as soon as it opens. No crowd yet and dishes are freshly set up ;) They have a ‘pay before dining’ policy

Finally. After 2 years of hiatus. This is my go-to whenever I crave kare kare and dinuguan. I found it unusual that the front desk was empty, so we just marched in and asked a table for two. Buffet menu were the usual set. Then there was grilled fish, it was almost charred. And, The lechon was not ok. Sad.

Limited choices of food, not freshly cook and not hot, dinuguaan and bopis are not good and just reheat, I got diarrhea after my meal, staffs are attentive and friendly, place is clean and well lit atmosphere.

We went there and saw the crablets. Tried it and love it. Tried to go back and saw that the menu has been change to toge and there is no crablets anymore. Then as we are asking for our bill, it took a long time with them telling us that they are going to get it, we then decided that we will approach the counter with the payment (even if there is no bill) because it already took alot of our time. Then lo and behold it still took time because the no. Of person on the bill is wrong. The kuhol and crablets is still great but other than that, not a...

The offerings are quite basic, but unfortunately, the taste doesnt quite match up to expectations.

Both their kare kare and spaghetti lack the special touch, resembling something youd find at a karinderya. The puto was hard, maybe they forgot to remove it there. Lol The halo halo station was disappointingly limited with only three ingredients available. The iced tea was matabang. On the bright side, the buffet area is consistently clean, which is great. However, theres definitely room for improvement in terms of menu...

If you’re craving Filipino food, Cabalen Sm Bacoor is the spot to hit. The buffet is packed with goodies—crispy lechon, flavorful adobo, and zesty sinigang na ulo ng salmon are all stars.

Don’t miss the Kare-kare perfectly partnered with their famous bagoong band the pancit puti. For dessert, the halo-halo and the ginataang bilo-bilo are perfect sweet endings. The service is friendly and on point, making the whole experience even better.

Definitely worth a visit for an authentic and...
