Garahe De Cuisina — Restaurant in Baguio

They were supposed to open at 10AM but their staff was late and we’re only able to place our order 30mins after. Another group came but backed out since food’s not yet available. Considering we went here last January 2 (first business day after holidays) and we’re not in a rush, we waited. Finally, our food was served at 11AM 😊

Their chicken and sisig rice meals are sulit na for their price. Sisig’s a little oily so medyo nakakaumay. Both came with one sunny side up egg. But the winner was their pinakbet with lechon kawali on top! The veggies were fresh, ang sarap ng timpla, not salty, the bagoong used was really good! My only issue, again, was it’s too oily. Not sure if because of the fats from lechon kawali.

Place: Directly accessible, beside the road. Not sure where to park (just parked beside the road) (3/5)

Interiors: Not totally enclosed, roof and/or ceiling is just direct corrugated roof which makes the place hot. Not to mention, the smoke coming from the soup being boiled is blowing on the dining area (although there's a big fan also directly facing the dining area). It is very uncomfortable when you are looking for a cozy place to eat and relax. (2/5)

Food: Food is great, serving size is just right. (4/5)

Service: Excluding the main dish being served, all others are self service. Guy's tone of speaking on the counter is a little rude when asked to turn the fan off. (3/5)

Price: Not all can afford. (4/5)

Overall: For a first time, Good...

Food: Ok lang.. ung normal nalang.. hindi na sya katulad ng dati na ang sarap na babalik balikan. And ung sa portion per serving hindi q macompare kung kumonti or the same. Ang hindi pang yata nag bago is ung UNLI-SABAW nila na may pagka BONFIRE feels kung san nakapwesto, habang nag-iigib ka ng sabaw moh.

Service: Ok lang din.. nagagawa pa naman naman ng staff ung trabaho nila, ang mag serve ng kung anung nasa menu nila. Pero hindi nga lang din tulad ng dati na mas maasikaso and friendly ang staff, kahit na full pack cla everyday, hindi nakikitaan ng pagod, ngayon kahit iilan lang ung kumakain may pagka "haggard" the aura on thier faces. Pati tuloy ang Ambiance ng place affected much.*

Atmosphere: Presko parin naman and maaliwalas, hindi ramdam na crowded kahit saan pa ung table nyo. And depende kung san table nyo kc may pagka indoor na outdoor ung atake ng dining area nila. Maintained naman ung kalinisan and ayos ng mga kailangan mo, madaling hanapin; sa kalinisan pala salute 🫡 ako, considering ung location nila, na nasa tabing-baba ng Kennon Rd. - highway - May parking and kahit anung wheels meron ka makakapwesto ka kung san mo man gustuhin.
