The good part, the view is great! The atmosphere and the vibe is really refreshing. You can actually feel the cold Baguio breeze! Must wear sweater at least or a jacket. (No jeans by the way) i should have taken a photo of the dress code info. but anyway, back to the vibe, a not so bad experience. You can have an overlooking view of the golf course. Seems like this is being frequented by Korean nationals. You can see them all around lol. It was around brunch to after lunch when I was here with friends. They do have a mini golf experience for the kids as well. The food was actually appetizing. We ordered shanghai 16 pcs (could be rated as 4/5), crispy binagoongan pork (4/5) good for 2-3 but more like good for 1-2. It’s really a small serving, sinigang na tuna sa miswa (3/5 but could be 4/5 if this was not reheated i think) there was a bug or some insect and they replaced it, please check the video(with no apology btw lol i guess i’ll accept their gesture to just change it as an apology, again i doubt it was replaced since the tuna actually was hard when they served it again. It does not taste fresh) lastly the asian fried chicken, (2/5) i do not recommend this. It fails the softness and juiciness or just the part i had was bad? tastes a bit sweet? Just not the fried chicken i expected, it didnt seem like a fried chicken to me, more like grilled actually lol
The bad part? They have no customer service! Or let’s assume they prefer to entertain their frequent guests or maybe golf club members? There was this one staff who upon raising our hand for a waiter yelled “wait lang” which to me sounded differently, Zero PR, zero customer service… Good Taste resto waiters are doing better lol. And we waited too long that we had to ask twice again and have to stand up and go to their counter. Could that first lady staff called on other staffs or waiters to attend to us then it would have been better. She was seem unhappy with her job, i was annoyed we were frustrated and we just thought she was having a bad day. We didn’t want the day ruined but i was ready to give her a word. Words in fact lol…. I’d still recommend this place, just bring some patience and understanding...
Read moreSaw their ad on facebook inviting people to celebrate with them on Father's day. I am so disappointed to have an early dinner at this place last Sunday.
We arrived at 3:45PM. No one assisted us to look for seats. At first, I didn't mind but then we had to call the attention of their staff 3 times to dish out the vacant table we found. There were 3 vacant tables outside and all of them were not dished out. When the first staff came to clean the table, the plates and cups were too heavy for her to carry so she said, she will be back to clean the rest. 15-20 minutes have passed and she did not return. We had to call the attention of other staff again, twice. Another staff member approached us with a bill in his hand, asking if it was ours to pay. I said, we have not ordered yet and we are waiting for the table to be cleaned. He said nothing and walked away. After raising our hands so many times, another guy approached us to ask what we needed and I said, we were waiting for the other lady who said she would return to continue getting the other plates and cups, to wipe the table and to get our order. He was pleasant enough to apologize and continued the task. We asked for a lighter to light our candle to help repel the flies. It never came.
We ordered the crispy sinigang thinking it was a sinigang with soup and crispy fried pork as "sahog". The waiter told us it's good for 3-5 people. So we just added sandwiches.
We had to follow up on our order twice since we have been waiting for an hour. The crispy sinigang was a stir fried, sinigang flavored pork. No sabaw. And it's only good for 2 people. So we had to order another pork sinigang because it's already 5pm, it's cold and our coffee is not served yet.
The view was very refreshing and aesthetic for IG worthy photos. The food, staff and overall service will be the downfall of this place.
My fiance said they may be short staffed but should you have not planned for a better coordination on services especially if you are inviting people online to celebrate a special...
Read moreVisit date: Oct 19. Don't come here during lunch and dinner rush, you'll feel unwelcome! In all other resto's, someone will immediately meet and assist you as soon as you walk in. Even if the place is full, someone will make you sit in the waiting area and hand you the menu so you can look at the options while waiting. Here, nobody welcomed us nor asked how many we are. All the waiters suddenly appeared busy, running here and there, avoiding eye contact at all costs. For them, we are not customers to be welcomed, but pests to be turned away. Guess what - we stood there in the middle of the restaurant for two minutes, looking like idiots, waiting for atleast one staff to come near us. When someone was walking past us, I called on him only to be met with the gesture of "maghintay ka!" I needed another minute to look for an available staff! After five minutes of waiting we were finally assisted to our table but guess what again - he didn't even give us the menu! At Manduto, they do their best to ignore you so that you'll just walk away and lessen their workload. Tingin sayo pabigat, hindi customer. Now don't give me the excuse that it was rush hour - that is no excuse to ignore your guests! Halatang di masaya ang tauhan nyo sa management nyo, kaya wala silang...
