Boy oh boy, do I have a story for you! Let me paint a picture of our incredible family dinner at the Shrimp Pirate. First off, the staff - just wow. They welcomed us like long-lost friends and kept the whole place spotless. Already off to a great start!

Then came the food - and let me tell you, it was the stuff of legends. My ribeye steak arrived, cooked to sheer perfection. And guess what? It came hand in hand with chimichurri, a duo that danced together on my taste buds like a well-rehearsed tango. You know how most steaks around here need a lifeboat of gravy just to make them taste good? Well, not this time. This steak was the star of the show, standing boldly in the spotlight, no gravy necessary!

My wife opted for the pasta with seafood, and the kids tucked into some seriously good BBQ chicken. I sneaked in a few bites (perks of being a dad, right?) and everything was just spot on. Flavors on point, perfectly cooked, and so delicious it could make a grown man cry!

But hold on, because the food wasn't even the grand finale. The view, oh the view! Imagine sitting there, stuffing your face with the best food ever, while Baguio City's gorgeous scenery unfurls before you. It felt like dining in the clouds, with the city twinkling beneath us - simply magical.

So here's the deal: If you're reading this and haven't been to The Shrimp Pirate, you need to get your priorities straight. I'm telling you, this is a one-of-a-kind culinary joyride you absolutely don't want to miss. We'll definitely be making our grand return, and soon.

Extremely disappointing customer service. I reached out via iMessage on Wednesday to make a reservation for Father’s Day. We exchanged a few messages, and I asked if I could pre-order our food to save time. They asked me to message them on Facebook Messenger instead. I explained I couldn’t and even sent a screenshot showing my messages weren’t going through.

Since then, I’ve received no response. It’s now Saturday, and I’ve tried calling multiple times—either the calls ring until they drop, or they get disconnected the moment I initiate them. I even asked my boyfriend to message them on Messenger. His message went through, and he informed them that someone (me) had already contacted them for a reservation but got ignored. They stopped replying to him too.

This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable. It honestly feels like they’re being selective about who they respond to. Very unprofessional and rude behavior. I was genuinely looking forward to dining here, but this experience has completely...

We recently had a delightful meal that surpassed our expectations. We started with the Mt. Ocean platter, which was already good for 3-4pax. The cajun sauce had a mild kick, perfectly complementing the mixed seafood. It was supposedly good for 4 people, but my mom, thinking the chicken serving might be small, ordered an extra solo rice topping for herself.

One surprise was the sausage. Normally, I'm not keen on sausages; both my cousin and I found it unexpectedly delicious.

Then came the ribeye steak, cooked exactly how we like it. The meat was tender and flavorful.

Overall, our experience was very satisfying. The food was delicious, plus the staff...

The scampi pasta was sooo good! We had it mildly spicy, and I highly recommend it! The Brazilian ribeye was also delicious, very tender, and the gravy complemented the steak perfectly. Their homemade French fries are a must-order. It’s so flavorful! The mixed seafood Cajun flavor was tasty too, with big, juicy shrimp, though the tahong had large shells but very little meat inside. I only enjoyed the shrimp and corn from the mixed seafood. As for the place, it could use a bit of improvement in the interiors. Parking is also quite limited, with space for only up to four cars.
