My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al GOTO King Diner (Batangas) and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience! As a fan of Filipino cuisine, I was excited to explore the vibrant flavours and rich traditions that make it so special.
From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a fantastic meal. The traditional Filipino elements combined with the friendly staff, made us feel right at home.
Now the food - we were blown away by the variety of Filipino food available. We ordered a little bit of everything and we could not help but order more. From the goto, bulalo, lechon paksiw, veggies and seafood - the food we had were cooked to perfection.
Overall, my experience at Al GOTO King Diner was nothing short of exceptional. The food was authentic, the service was impeccable, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this diner restaurant to anyone looking to explore the delicious world of Filipino cuisine in Batangas. We will definitely be coming back!
Thank you so much team and...
Read moreWorst dining experience ever!!! Cutlery was disgustingly filthy and patrons complained about it being greasy. Bowls were also greasy, had animal fat ( sebo ) leftover on it. Plates were still wet when served. We had to clean our own table as it was very greasy and smelly and had to use lots of tissue.

The soup # 5 was definitely off, inedible and had a sourish taste to it which I later complained to the chubby, pretty manager ( maybe owners daughter ) and was not very happy about my complaint. The gotos meat had a rotten after taste to it and was hardly ever touched. The only real tasting part of the meal was the bottled water.
I do recommend to invest in a industrial dishwasher which uses hot water. To the pretty chubby manager, please keep in mind that HYGIENE is number 1 in the restaurant business and if patrons are complaining it means that you and your staff are not doing...

We complained to the waitress -- discreetly -- so as not to alarm or upset the other customers. She retorted: "Ganun din po ang sinerve namin sa lahat at kinakain din naman po nila." It was late at night, we were in a hurry to go home, and she looked overworked, so we took the high road of requesting those just to-go instead (hoping the dogs would even eat it).
Apart from being overpriced (rice at 25 pesos per cup!), service was terrible, too. No service water served, no apology given.
We hurriedly left the place vowing never to...
