FOOD: The quality of their food is great. I particularly loved the Laing. Really creamy and delicious. The pancit habhab is ok. Calamares is also ok, although it said it's for sharing but I could easily eat it by myself. 😉 Garlic rice is perfect and could be shared by 3 guys. Brewed coffee is so-so.

ATMOSPHERE: Excellent location and certified IG-worthy. They have many open spaces with plenty of greens and flowers, giving you that much-desired background for photos. From the parking lot, to their open gardens, you will never run out of places to take photos. The pond outside is picture perfect for those romantic couple photos. The dining area itself is located (literally) on the pond with lots of fishes!

SERVICE: From the guard outside to their wait staff, everyone is all smiles and ready to serve.

PARKING: Plenty of spaces to park but with the volume of patrons going in here, it tends to fill up pretty quick.

COMFORT ROOM: This is the only thing I wished they would improve. The men's CR is not up to the standard of the restaurant. With a place so nice and clean, you'd expect their comfort rooms would also like that. But no, if you're going to pee, there are no privacy dividers and no water to flush. And if you're planning to poop, then good luck.

OVERALL: All in all, this place is definitely worth the trip to get good food and outstanding ambiance and location. Just don't expect too much when you need to go use their comfort rooms. The palce is being renovated when we had lunch there and I hope the CRs are included in the...

Food was overpriced as compensation for the good ambience. Like for instance, their chocolate mochi was almost P200 for 6 pieces, more expensive than pure chocolates.

Some food's taste and quality were below average. Their kulawo's eggplant was hard / barely cooked and difficult to chew on, to think that it was almost P300 per small plate.

Sinigang na salmon was bad, the broth was super sour and the fish was not even tender. And their sisig... being a kapampangan, I have high standards for sisig. This one tasted like they just put together the overcooked pork crumb leftovers and seasoning. Sisig was supposed to highlight the meat itself and intensify it with onion and salt. I just tasted burnt meat and onions. 😭

The only dishes that I liked were their grilled BBQ (my kids loved it) and tilapia in coconut milk (forgot the name of the dish).

I thought that this was a good restaurant and has lot of potential though. The service was excellent and staff was attentive. I understand the price they put on their food, however, I hope that they improve the quality. You just don't cook a dish only because you think you know how and because you think it was easy to do. And as a resto owner, you just don't hire a cook for the same reason. If no choice, okay, just at least, taste it before...

If you're looking for a unique dining experience that combines great Filipino food with a beautiful ambiance, Kamayan at Palaisdaan Restaurant is definitely worth checking out. The restaurant's floating huts in a pond of tropical fishes offer a tranquil and serene setting for lunch or dinner, and the lush garden greenery adds to the refreshing atmosphere.

The Filipino food is also a highlight of the restaurant, with a variety of delicious dishes that showcase the best of the country's cuisine. From traditional dishes like adobo and sinigang to more adventurous options like crispy pata and kare-kare, the menu is sure to satisfy any foodie's cravings.

While the overall experience is impressive, it is worth noting that Kamayan at Palaisdaan is quite pricey compared to other local restaurants, so it may not be the best option for those on a tight budget. Additionally, some guests have reported that the service can be slow, which may be a drawback for those in a rush.

However, despite these minor issues, Kamayan at Palaisdaan is still one of the best local restaurants to take visitors from abroad or other localities. The ambiance alone is enough to impress, and when combined with the delicious food and refreshing garden setting, it creates an unforgettable dining...

Long waiting time, inaccurate portion sizes as stated in the menu, overpriced food - Eating here was one huge disappointment. 🙃 Upon arriving, we were told the wait time to be seated would be 30-40 minutes but that our food would have already been cooked by that time. Our food were not yet cooked even after waiting for 40 minutes. Ended up waiting for 20 more minutes. What’s more disappointing are the serving sizes. In their menu, they indicate how many people the food is good for. No wayyyyy are 6 pieces of shrimp “good for 2-3 people.” The bulalo pictured is priced at 450 and is indicated to be good for 4-5 people. It had 2 pieces of beef. The food wasn’t even that good and can come across as a bit bland. The beef was tender though, I’ll give that. But it’s crazy overpriced. We would’ve appreciated more accurate portion sizes in the menu than to be disappointed when we’re there already. We couldn’t order more since we were told we would be waiting for a longer time again if we placed new orders. I remember loving my experience here when I used to eat here before. Hopefully that can be brought back. Oh well, at least there are nice ponds.
