Chowking Shell Mamplasan — Restaurant in Biñan

I recently visited Chowking Shell Mamplasan and unfortunately, I had a less than pleasant experience. The layout of the place is quite uncomfortable, as it requires passing through two separate doors between the outdoor and indoor areas, which can be inconvenient, especially during busy hours.

The service could definitely use improvement; the crew seemed a bit disorganized and inattentive during my visit. Some staff members also appeared clumsy, though it may have just been an off day.

That said, I still appreciate that the food was good, which is what I’ve always liked about Chowking. I hope management can look into improving the service and overall setup to make the dining experience more comfortable...

I was a bit disappointed when we asked for assistance to open the pack of soy sauce. The crew told us that they don't have scissors to cut the pack of soy sauce and went away. My mom approached the crew at the serving area to ask the same thing. To our surprise, the girl told my mom the same thing. " So Anong gagawin namin Dito, eh Hindi nga namin mabuksan?" The crew did not do anything to solve it. My mom was about to rant when another crew went out of the kitchen with scissors and cut the pack. How sad that there are staff who don't have the initiative to think how they can serve...

Not much to say other than the seating capacity is limited and that air-conditioning needs improvement. But, considering that you are eating at a fast food restaurant, you should manage your expectations with regard to this small creature comforts. The food is what you would expect of any chowking branch: fast, filling, and light on the budget.
