REVIEW FOR THEIR ONE AYALA BRANCH (not on Google Maps)

EDITED: After I texted their main branch number about what happened, the daytime manager of the branch called me immediately and offered to compensate me with fresh replacements right away, and I am so happy of course that the money I spent would not go to waste and I would get what I paid for.

The daytime general manager is definitely so much better than the nighttime manager who did not offer me even so much as an apology before. 🥲 This place sells good food so they really should not hire bad managers like that or they will surely lose good customers.

—

I always buy from this store. But this is the 2nd time they sold me SPOILED CHICKEN EMPANADA. 2 out of the 3 I bought were already SPOILED and had a gross overly sticky texture. Their empanada IS NOT CHEAP. It is 95 per piece, and I paid 190 for 2 SPOILED INEDIBLE EMPANADAS. This is after I asked them over and over and over if the batch they were selling me was FRESH. The person behind the counter just said a very quiet yes. I often buy this product and I wanted to trust them that the spoiled one I got before was a one-off mistake. NOPE! THEY APPARENTLY SELL SPOILED EMPANADA OFTEN AND DO NOT CARE.

The first time I told their staff they sold me a spoiled product, they all just stared at me. NO APOLOGY. No offer to compensate, not even a single assurance that THEY DID NOT INTEND TO SELL SPOILED GOODS AND SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS. I thought it was just them shocked. But now? I see that their silence and lack of apology was a sign of implicit guilt. THEY ALL KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND JUST HOPING CUSTOMERS WOULD NOT NOTICE OR COMPLAIN.

Too bad because their food is really good but the staff and manager here actually do not care about selling quality products and just want to make a profit if they are so unscrupulous as to rip off customers of their hard-earned money and give them spoiled goods that could actually make them sick. KADIRI...

The good: Food wasn't bad, not great either BUT (see "the needs improvement")

The "Needs Improvement": we spent Php795 for dinner. We had a small serving of bagnet (Php395) and a generous serving of Papaitan (Php250). Is the taste worth the price? Not by a long shot, especially with the bagnet which was bland AF. It's like it was just fried without any seasoning whatsoever.

The BAD: we're ok with spending Php800 on dinner if the food's ok and was served/presented well. But the rice was served on a plate from what appears to be surplus plastic plates from a different restaurant (Floring's. See photo) and worst of all, the food was served on microwaveable containers and the cutlery were consisted of single use plastic utensils....and not even the good kind, they used the flimsy type which was extremely easy to snap. I actually get the reasoning behind it so that customers who'd like to take out could just ask for a lid. But that's ok if the menu was priced a bit cheaper but 'twas far from it. I hope the management can address this....incredibly disappointing.

the smell. The place smelled like someone had sprayed insecticide or a disinfectant or both. And some flies were also present even though 'twas already around 9pm when we...

Food was great!!! Price is fair. Issues and downfall… 1.Too many flies and bangaw roaming around inside the place especially in the food display area near the cashier. 2.Staff should be more sensitive to customers request. Last Dine in June 15, 2024 6pm I was really disappointed in my experience at your restaurant.Fix the fly problem in your restaurant since every time we dine in I observed those flies all the time and also tell your staff to be more sensitive to our very simple request.Staffs should be more accomodating and pleasant since they barely...

This is hidden at food station turo-turo style lutong bahay restaurant located after Mamplasan exit and before Sta Rosa exit. We frequent here to have lunch. All the food they served is quite good. If your looking for filipino food when you are going SLEX south bound, make a stop here and enjoy the food. They have indoor aircon and alfresco sitting which is good if you have pets with you. They cook dougnuts in the morning until supplys last. Oh, the toilet will cost you P20 pesos but they are clean and aitcon is very cold.
