Gold 'n Pearl Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Butuan

After spending almost the whole day at Metrobank, I needed something to keep me going. Gold 'n Pearl was the first one on the search list and the closest. I ordered their Hershey's Dark Mocha Frappe. I like that I forgot to ask to make it less sweet but it was still served less sweet anyway. But I felt the coffee flavor was overwhelmed by the ice... there was just too much ice and less coffee. The whipped cream as well lacked hardness and flavor. In addition to the frappe, I tried their Blueberry Cheesecake. Though it was good, I still thought it wasn't worth the price. The service was too small. It was whipped as I what I have observed, so they could have made the portions bigger since it's air-filled anyway. They should also fix their tables. The one I used wobbled and I almost spilled everything...

I grew up eating their legendary sunshine bread which is brought to their bakery by their legendary green trike and boy, that very bread has been a basis for me of what a bread should be. I never fail to remind my mom to bring some every time she visits Butuan.

Located near the church and plaza. Food selection is limited but satisfying. They also serve hot and cold coffee selection including frappes. There are also selection of breads, cakes and pastries. But limited in stock. Price is at the average. The place is a bit small and can only serve a handful of dinning in customers. Usually full during lunch.
