Chowking — Restaurant in Butuan

I did not know that a 3-pc siopao to-go would take almost 40mins to serve. I ordered at 7:56am and was told to wait for 15-20mins. I checked for a follow up around 8:20 and was told to wait. Another 18mins passed until it was FINALLY served! It was a Saturday morning btw. Not busy at all! Prior to this, we dined here a couple of weeks ago and we took the seats at the 2nd floor since the first floor is fully occupied. The AC were off, we requested but they declined because there were only 2 tables occupied up there like WTH?? We were eating there with our sweats...

restricted menu, no topping availlable for chow fan but availlable in wanton and lauriat why? you can have chow fan rice but lauriat is with plain rice why? you arrive in the cashier yousay good morning, no reply and he went away to do another thi g than to take order. chow fan are served late and they are cold... the only welcoming and professional behaviour i saw today in Chow King is the Security Guard at the entrance... WHAT IS HAPPENING...

Has been in business for several years and a favorite among locals. I always enjoy their beef Mami and pot stickers. Service is about 15-20 minutes which is pretty good considering the volume of people served. This trip however, they ran out of beef mami, this is a common occurrence here.
