Le Coreen Restaurant — Restaurant in Caba

Went here with my fam for lunch! It was middday so it was understandble that the place would be hot as it's already so hot outside. The place had large floor to ceiling windows as well which I imagine would let alot of heat in.

It's airconditioned inside but the barbecue grills didnt have any form of exhaust or ventilation. The tables were also a bit short width-wise? So we were seated and was eating quite close to the grill. And because there were no dedicated exhausts for the grill, heat and smoke gets on your face alot. Haha but it's no big deal, we went to a korean bbq and it's part of the experience. Then as people arrived and started cooking at their tables, the whole place got hotter and hotter. The smell of barbecue and smoke was also filling the area.

Food-wise, it was okay. For its price I get it. The buffet was cleaned regularly and arranged neatly. The meats were also soft and marinated well. Only downside for me was how long it takes them to refill the meats. I dont know much about prep-work but arent the meats taken from the fridge after thawing and brought out to serve? It took 15-20 minutes for meat to be brought out. But otherwise it's okay.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, even with only a few of them in number it's quite impressive how they were able to assist so many people so quickly.

Lastly, this place also hosts events and birthdays. I just thought maybe they shouldve set up a room or something to separate the event? We were seated right at the very end next to the first table dedicated to the party. It can get pretty loud with the emcee talking and their sound system playing.

Other than that, overall...

First time eating here. It was Delicious. Meat is fresh. As well as Soup Base for the Shabu-Shabu. Delicious. You can taste the concentrated flavor in it. The beef is so premium for a cheap price. As well as their cake. Triple Chocolate Cake. Super Moist. Not Overly Sweet. Super Delicious. The staff is amazing. They accept solo buffet. Unlike others that you need a minimum of 2 to enter there. I gave it 4 star for this. I highly recommend this place. The lechon is not present. My suggestion here is that I wish that it offers more choice of proteins and Shabu-Shabu Toppings, Seafoods and noodles. As well as Choices of Soup Bases. And also. Different choices of drinks. For the price and place....

The restaurant opens at 11am but were there past 10am. The owner and one of the staffs greeted us and told us they were still preparing. They let us in 10 mins after (which is 30 mins earlier their opening).

Very accommodating owner and staff. Very attentive too. One of the staff immediately helped us when she saw us having trouble with the burner.

Food is great considering the price.
