RSM Lutong Bahay Randomly stopped by this place for early lunch on our way to a staycation place, and it didn’t disappoint us in terms of the food. However, we think they’re a bit pricey. I would have given them 5 stars for the deliciousness of their food, the comfortable interiors, and ample parking, but giving them just 4 stars for being a bit too pricey. Anyway, as their name suggests, they serve traditional Filipino comfort food, turo-turo style. Sinigang na Tanigue sa miso - perfect taste, neither fishy nor too sour. The tanigue was fresh. Ginataang Kuhol (snails) - even my daughter, who is quite the picky eater, liked this dish. The taste was clean, not gamey at all. Inihaw na Tuna Belly - tuna was fresh and cooked just enough. However, considering the size of the cut (about 150-200 grams), at 500 pesos, we thought it’s 30-35% overpriced. Beef mechado - well balanced umami flavor, not overpowering at all. The beef was tender. Plin Rice - wrapped in banana leaves, and comes with a whole fresh tomato a hard-boiled egg. At 50 pesos, it’s more reasonably priced than the other dishes. Halo-Halo - as with their dishes, their hali-halo is as traditional as it gets. No frills, no gimmicks. The ingredients are all the usual stuff you find in halo-halo: sweet red beans, macapuno, nata de coco, leche flan, evaporated milk, ube ice cream, and gulaman. The ice is not as fine as Razon’s or Goldilocks’, but reasonably fine. Parking is huge—can easily accommodate at least 20 cars. Overall, we really liked this restaurant. It’s just that it’s pricier than it should be.

This is not the popular RSM. This is now RHM. Masarap yung food, ok yung place. Accessible and has ample parking slot. Pero tama mga reviews dito, scam nga. They billed us more than expected. Hindi nila pinakita breakdown, and when I asked for an official receipt, wala ding breakdown, total amount lang, which was 30% higher than the actual prices published on the menu. It was not published if may VAT or service charge. When you dine in here, ask for a detailed breakdown.

Bad expensive food! Was expecting good filipino food. Banana in banana con yelo was hard. Beef in bulalo was so stiff and chewy with salt msg soup and restrooms were dirty..I wonder if they even care to wipe off finger marks in glasses bec ours were filled. Such a pity opting to eat here in the afternoon bec nearby restos were closed.. never again!

I dined in today and I ordered small bulalo for 695 I clearly said to the server that I only want the small serving as there was only two of us eating. They served our food with our understanding that it was a small serving that was given to us. After asking for the bill to my surprise I was charge the big serving of 990 instead. I complained and told them why they charge me that, when I specifically said I only wanted the small portion. This is out right worst customer service as when I started complaining about it the server said okay Lang po Yan mam pasensya na matatake out niyo naman yung tira eh... Instead of retifiying the issue. Good thing I have money to spend but what if the unfortunate customer is on a budget it could have been worst scenario for them. I quietly left the restaurant as I said no sense arguring with them pinasadiyos ko nalang galit ko. Tulong ko nalang yun binayad ko. It's not the price but the idea of deceiving their customers like that is so unaccepteble. I will never eat at this restaurant again. FYI d naman masarap...

We had our quick lunch here after our construction job in Batangas. Their place has this very Filipino vibes where you can eat inside their nipa huts with tables and chairs. Their menu has a wide variety and we chose to eat their Laing, Grilled Liempo, Kare-kare, and a fish dish with sauce (which I dont know specifically). Their food was quite delish and I love it that their rice was wrapped in banana leaves with hard boiled egg and tomato inside. Definitely recommended to people who likes to dine in large groups because they can cater your needs. I also love that they have this souvenir store where you can buy local delicacies.

This specific branch is kind of far but would try to eat again if they have other...
