AA BBQ & Grill — Restaurant in Cebu City

First of all, their way of taking your order is kinda ridiculous. As you have to go to their cashier to take the order which makes it hassle.

It'd be better to just give a menu to the customers so everybody can choose and pick the food they wanna enjoy eating.

The serving takes a long time and they give you glasses with ice cubes which is annoying because the ice cubes have already dissolved into water before the pitcher arrived. Their iced tea is terrible too.

7 months ago as of this writing, we visited this branch to celebrate my mom's birthday. The food was better back then. When we visited last night, their Pochero was just too salty that you can't appreciate it anymore. Their pork belly all burned and no meat 🥩 just fats. Their pork BBQ were too dry and it's as if it was inedible. Their scallops, awful. Their gambas was the only viand that seemed delicious to me - but of course that was only because it was spicy. For anyone who liked spicy food, anything spicy is delicious. There was no twist however. Their calamares were not crunchy at all. It's like the food served were just left overs.

The service was terrible. I appreciate the last guy that helped us pack the birthday cake though. He was polite. It's great that somebody from that branch can still do their job. But then again, we weren't there for their service alone but for the great food they once offered.

I wish their food would improve and they would just give out the menu so we can properly choose what we want to eat.

We haven't been in the Philippines for quite some time. But when we do visit we try and go to a place like AA BBQ & Grill. This was close to my sister in law home. Now the food was good. The wife had her fish soup. I had the Sweet and Sour Pork and the Chicken Wings. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the wings. Was to hungry. But those wings were super yummy. AA BBQ has been our family's go to restaurant since when my husband and I began dating 9+ years ago. The staff are so kind and helpful. The food is quite delicious. There is parking available and their ambiance is also very comfortable being and outdoor setting.thwy have function rooms as well for rent.
