Nestled at the end of town as in literally next to the water, this unassuming eatery has gained a reputation for something beyond the ordinary – eels, rumored to possess aphrodisiac qualities. As you step into this simple establishment, each dish is priced so affordably that it becomes an instant draw for non locals seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
The place itself might not boast grandeur, but it gifts you something priceless – a view that transcends its modest exterior Gazing out from your seat, you're treated to a sight that adds a touch of serenity to your dining experience.
The eels take center stage on the menu, presented in two distinct forms: a hearty stew and a crispy fried rendition. The stew, infused with local flavors, stands out as the crowd favorite. However, the fried eel, despite its popularity, proves to be a challenge for some palates, its texture making it a bit tough to chew and swallow.
While eels steal the spotlight, the menu doesn't stop there. Other favorites make an appearance, promising a diverse culinary experience for those who venture beyond the allure of aphrodisiac eels.

Read moreIf you watch the Streetfood series and curious, here's your guide on how you can get there. Located in Brgy. Buagsong in Cordova. This can be reached via public and private transport. Just type Enjoy's Bakasihan on Google Maps. For public transportation though, the convenient way is to ride a V-hire at SM City Cebu going to Cordova. Once you reached Cordova's V-hire terminal, you can hire a tricycle that will take you to Enjoy's. Since it's located at the far end of the barangay road, I would suggest that you ask your driver to wait for you. Not unless you are willing to walk around 5-10 minutes to the highway to hail a tricycle that will take you back to the main road. As for the fare, they usually would say "Ikaw bahala" or it's up to you how much you would pay for a round trip plus waiting time.
Don't get surprised if you find the look of the place a bit different from what was shown on Netflix. They had the place cleaned and rearrange some of the furniture when it was shoot.
The place looks basic and decent or widely known to us as carenderia setting. You can also order other delicacies aside from the Bakassi. IIt's best to go there...
Read moreFirst of its super far. Its at the end of the map haha, we had some hard time travelling due to narrow roads. We got here near closing time, good thing they still serve bakasi.
Food: I love the soup of bakasi its not fishy and super comforting. What I didn't like is the bakasi itself. It was small and hard to eat for me, and you need to remove the intestines/innards yourself because any meat touching them becomes bitter. The problem is, the fish is too small and often times you dont notice those innards so a burst of bitterness assaults your tongue. That's why I didn't get to enjoy the food as much since I was so busy removing those parts. Also, it was super cheap a food for 2 is just around 120.
The place is your local karenderia vibes but the view especially at sunset was phenomenal. If only we'd come here earlier maybe we'd get to enjoy it more, the traffic and drive here really just exhausted us.
If you crave and really wanted tot ry out this netflix featured place then go ahead and visit otherwise its not so worth it, for...
