The restaurant was okay in terms of ambience, sounds, and staff, but we had major issues with the food, particularly the Lechon Kawali. We don't mind paying a good price for a good meal, but the food was inedible—it was dry, bland, and seemed overcooked. When we asked the attendant about it, they responded with, "ganyan po kasi talaga yan," insisting it was traditional Pinoy Lechon Kawali but then it was grilled (why would you even grill a lechon kawali), even though it looked and tasted fried.
The manager didn't address our complaint until we were about to leave, which was very frustrating. He only approached us when we were already paid and left our table, not when we initially raised our concerns.
We didn't take the Lechon Kawali home, as even our pets couldn't consume it.

It gives off a classic, elegant Filipino alta social vibe. I honestly wasn’t expecting something like this in Daet, I was pleasantly surprised!
I wasn’t able to take pictures of the food because we were too hungry. Their crispy pata is my favorite - perfectly crispy and falls right off the bone. Super delicious! The salmon belly sinigang felt like a warm hug. And their homemade cakes (chocolate and mocha) were just the cherry on top. Very excellent, even my lola loved it so much. What an experience!
