Some of the food that they served us are just fine and others were great as my family enjoyed our lunch but it was the worst customer experience we ever experienced so far. The staff who assisted us was not so nice unlike the way she accommodated the other groups. What's even worst is when my toddler had tantrums and crying, this staff approached us and very upset asking me to go outside of the resto with my toddler and come back when she's done crying as other customers are being destructed. I was shocked and upset how she handled the situation. We had different dining experiences at different restaurants and there were also times that my toddler were behaving the same but we were never asked to go outside except this restaurant. Is the Management aware of the behavior of some of their staff and are they doing something to improve it? Btw the staff I was talking about is the old lady and she was not wearing uniform that time. Not sure what her position is why she...

I was so hungry and very excited to eat when we visited the resto so I wasn't able to take lots of photos for this review. But the drive all the way to Dagupan in search of the best grilled bangus was so worth it. Ang saraaaaap! Their bagoong isda was sooo yummy too! Kept looking at the dishes being brought to tables of the other customers and everything looked delish! Was salivating before our own orders arrived.

The restaurant was so cozy and homey, and felt like eating in your own home during a special occasion like fiesta or new year.

The servers were very friendly, attentive, and had no issue with small talk. Loved the vibe of the place and staff. Experience was superb. :)

The restaurant is in front of a beach resort, so you will enjoy some beach vibes once you step out, and feel the sand in your toes when you get to the...

Located right beside Tondalingan bay, it’s a no-fail place to try Dagupan’s best seafood!

Sinigang na Malaga - really fresh fish with a texture like Pampano. It was around Php 450 at the time for one whole fish

Inihaw na Bangus - the real deal. The bangus almost tasted like chicken.

Garlic Butter Shrimp - we really liked their timpla

Buko Juice - even the waiters found it difficult to bring the actual buko to our table because of the size. If you want it cold, ask the waiters to place it in a pitcher instead.

Service was a little slow since there were a lot of people (20-30 mins for all the orders) but they were generally responsive. Overall a...

This is the number 1 go-to restaurant in Dagupan if you want to eat yummy seafood. There are several branches of Matutina, but this particular branch started it all. Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo swears on the food here. Even Pope John Paul II ate here in the past. We ordered 2 servings of each: fried bangus, buttered chili shrimps, pakbet, steamed oysters, stuffed pusit and 2 platters of rice. We are 6 in our group and paid a total bill of Php2,400 for so much food! They also give you complimentary coconut pasilla for appetizer and dessert. Our palates are satisfied, tummies very happy. Until next time when we visit Dagupan again. Thanks Matutina!
