Incident Report Subject: Suspected Foodborne Illness from Jollibee Salawag Branch Date of Incident: September 15, 2025 Location: Jollibee Salawag Time of Visit: Approximately 12:00 PM
On September 15, 2025, my boyfriend visited the Jollibee Salawag branch after completing half of his first day of On-the-Job Training (OJT) at a nearby hotel. At around 12:26 PM, he sent me a message and a photo of himself seated inside the branch while waiting for his order. We were chatting continuously as we normally do.
Later that day, at approximately 3:30 PM, he informed me that four of his batchmates who also dined at the same Jollibee branch had to be taken to the clinic due to symptoms consistent with food poisoning. While there is no confirmed evidence at this time, it is worth noting that they all consumed food from the same establishment just an hour prior to experiencing symptoms, including vomiting.
My boyfriend initially reported feeling dizzy and slightly unwell around the same time (3:30 PM), but did not have severe symptoms then. However, by late evening—between 11:00 PM and 12:00 midnight—he began experiencing stomach pain and nausea, with a strong urge to vomit.
I am submitting this incident report to raise awareness of the possible food safety concern at the Jollibee Salawag branch. While we understand that no official diagnosis or laboratory confirmation has yet been made, the clustering of symptoms among multiple individuals who ate at the same branch is alarming.
My primary concern is my boyfriend’s well-being, as well as the safety of other customers who may be affected. I hope this report prompts a review of food handling, preparation, and hygiene practices at the mentioned location.
Please note that I am not accusing any individual staff member, nor do I intend to wrongfully implicate the Jollibee Salawag branch in any way. This report is submitted solely to raise awareness and document the incident. While my boyfriend prefers not to escalate the matter, I am sharing this out of genuine concern—not only for his safety, but for that of other customers who may have also dined there on...
Read moreDear Jollibee Customer Service,
I would like to formally raise a concern regarding an unpleasant incident that occurred at your Jollibee Salawag branch on April 27, 2025, at around 12:45 AM.
My Cousin and I were planning to order takeout while waiting for a friend who was going through a personal emergency. We agreed to meet halfway at your Salawag branch to support him and offer some comfort during this difficult time. Unfortunately, just as my cousin arrived, a security guard abruptly approached us and asked us to leave immediately.
This sudden confrontation was unexpected and upsetting, especially since we were simply having a private moment to help a friend in need. We were not causing any disturbance, and we intended to order food as paying customers. Being asked to leave in such a manner made us feel as though we were doing something wrong or illegal, which was far from the case.
This experience was deeply frustrating and turned what should have been a comforting moment into a negative one. I hope this incident encourages your team at Jollibee Salawag to re-evaluate how customers are treated. It felt very unwelcoming and, quite frankly, unethical to be dismissed without cause.
We truly hope you take this concern seriously and that appropriate action is taken to prevent similar experiences in the future. We’ve always known Jollibee as a place of warmth and comfort—but this incident was anything but.
“Please add a reference to any applicable law, ordinance, or official memorandum that explicitly states a public fast-food establishment cannot be used as a meeting place or location to take or process group orders. This clarification is important to support enforcement or understanding of such a restriction.”

Read moreDrive thru, is very slow, and they prioritize whoever purchased more. They would tell you to move forward even if there is nobody before you.
It is a waste of space and goes everything against fast food drive through qualities.
I am sorely disappointed, that it took 20 minutes to finish one missing item to the point the car before us which seem to order in bulk was served first instead of finishing our one last item.
Staff claimed it was 6 minutes then 3 minutes later said 5 minutes.
The manager was avoiding us and kept sending their poor employee to talk to us and repeat the same nonsensical reason just to get us to move.
All in all a car that has ordered in bulk shouldn’t have finished with one that only has one drink missing.
Food is great but I fear they might have tampered with the missing drink out of spite.
Bad...
