Liwanag Cafe Dasma — Restaurant in Dasmariñas

Never again.

It is my second time dining in and I wasn't satisfied again. There was no welcoming staff (like greetings, did not sit us at our table as we are struggling since we are many), we were the ones who cleared (organized the former customers' plates) and wiped our table when the waitress (didn't got her name) said that she would do it. We just lost patience. And when I called her to follow up on our table to clean, she gestured for me to wait with her palm✋, as if to quiet me down. It's up to you, reader, how you would interpret it but I felt DISRESPECTED as a guest. Compare it to fast food chain crews, even though there are so many customers, they still ACCOMMODATE their incoming customers. So why can't the staff in this establishment do that here, too? Aren't they trained?

And my food! My friends' food already got to theirs but my 6-piece chicken wings took SO LONG that I got to eat when my friends finished eating 😐. We ordered at 1:16, my food got to me at 1:53 or so. It is disappointing. Aren't there any meal preps happening so as to not let your customers wait? Although the food was good, the service was...

The overall experience is quite decent.

We tried the chicksilog, liemposilog, and their signature Liwanag burger.

The food price is affordable but I find the coffee to be on the high side.

Food was good but nothing special. There are a couple of areas that could be improved.

Firstly, the meal would benefit from a special dip sauce instead of plain vinegar or gravy. This would add more flavor and complement the dishes. Secondly, the burger was a bit dry and could have been enhanced with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. On a positive note, the ambiance was pleasant, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. Compare before na kabubukas lang nila maganda yung place okay yung food nila mainit and masarap way back 2022 pa ata yun pero now yung food sobrang disappointing 😭. Ang mahal ng food nila yet cold and undercooked during dine in nung last visit ko. Yung pepperoni pizza cost around 200+ yet parang maximus pizza lang fr mas masarap pa yung nasa food stall sa tabi. Then yung pizza nila may amag pa sa ilalim ng dough halatang luma na kase malamig then rubbery na yung texture. Nalaman ko na lang sa bahay na may amag nung nagtake out ako kase di ko kaya ubusin. Dapat sinabi ko sa branch nila kaso hinayaan ko na since dinispose ko na. Yung burger nila nothing special. Mas okay pa sa fast food or sa angels burger na afford ng masa. Again, burger nila too expensive yet di worth it esp ang lamig pa ng food. Drinks din nila like yung alcoholic drink nakalimutan ko name pero 150+ pero di worth it sa isang glass. Nagexpect pa nmn ako na goods dun kase natry ko na kumain dun before pero now not sure kung uulit pa. Fr maganda lang yung ambiance sa labas pero yung food hindi masyado I'm not sure kung ganun rin sa ibang branch. Plus ang tagal ng waiting time maserve ng food samantalang wala nmn iba customer dun not sure why. Sayang nmn 😔

Another thing is walang guard sa Dasma branch. Gabi kami kumain between 6-9pm and wala masyado tao that time kahit weekend. Nakakatakot super uncomfy kumain sa labas nila yung may nga table sa gilid kase daming pusang gala, aso, and mga nanlilimos na bata at lalapit para magbenta ng kung ano. Hindi mo maenjoy yung food and lamig ng hangin kase open space kase dami nanggugulo sayo lalo na yung mga galang aso at pusa naakyat sa upuan and table habang nakain mga customer.

I hope mabago nila yung serving time, quality ng food, may guard na sana next time lalo na sa gabi, wag nila hayaan mga galang hayop sa area, mga batang nanlilimos and sapilitan bebentahan ka kahit nag NO ka na. Yun lang...
