ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have only seen worse on TV. I used to be a semi-regular customer, but after dealing with "the owner" who cussed me out, including lots of F-bombs, and scared my 5 year-old son into crying, all I can say is stay away. I don't think she is the owner, but she claimed to be, so if she isn't the owner, and the owner sees this, she should be fired.
We have been coming here for 6-7 months, the pizza isn't good, but it is passable. The burger is decent. Hit or miss with other things.
Tonight we ordered a pizza and a few other items. We had lots of questions about the "four seasons" pizza. The picture was different then the description, the the three girls working behind the bar each described it differently. That's 5 different descriptions, and none of them matched what we received. I complained, because what we got was not in line with what we ordered. It was supposed to 1/4 Hawaiin, 1/4 pepperoni, 1/4 supreme, and 1/4 something else (sorry, I forgot what it was). Instead we got 4 parts, each with one topping, olives, mushroom, onion, and salami. That was not the picture or anything any of the girls described, so I complained. At first it was okay, argued with me, but still offered to make it right, but then they all started to blame me. Then the "owner" came out yelling and cussing at me, insulting me in ways that no restaurant owner ever should do. We were not being rude or disrespectful, we just wanted the pizza that we were told that we would receive, something that had a similar composition to the picture. If any one of them had described the pizza that we received as it was, we would have ordered a different pizza, maybe two. But we definitely did not want that thing. The reason we asked is because we were debating one or two, or a half and half, but then we say th "four seasons."
I have been working in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years. I have been eating in restaurants for almost 50 years. I have never had an owner or manager come out, insult me, cuss at me, and treat me with as much disrespect as that little one did. To make matters worse, the bandwagon effect kicked in. All of them decided to start yelling at me, and my Filipina wife, who kept her composure a bit more than me.
We used to go here a couple times a month. Order some food. The place is a little cute. I always treat the girls nice and tip well. BUT I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. AND SHOULD ANY OF THEM FIND A JOB SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT I VISIT, I WILL NOT TIP THEM. I Hope you...

Alright, let’s cut the noise — Chilax Resto Bar is absolutely crushing it. Good food ✅ Good drinks ✅ Good people ✅ You can’t fake that combo. You can’t "marketing strategy" your way into real hospitality and they’re living it. 🙌
The spare ribs? Bro, listen — tender, juicy, packed with flavor. You don’t even need a knife, you just look at it and it falls apart. The pizza? Are you kidding me?? Thin crust, loaded toppings, actual FLAVOR — not that sad cardboard nonsense you get at most places. It’s excellence, slice by slice. Now — I saw some clown dropping a bad review somewhere. 👀 Probably someone who thinks complaining online is a personality trait. Because here’s the truth: ALL the food we had was OUTSTANDING. No misses. ZERO. If you’re gonna bash it, maybe the problem isn’t the food — maybe it’s you. (Yeah, I said it.)
The staff? Absolute legends. Friendly, attentive, smiling — they make you feel like family, not a transaction. 🙏
We’re not just "planning to come back." We’re coming back EVERY. DAMN. DAY. When you find a place this good, you don’t gatekeep — you TELL THE WORLD.
Chilax Resto Bar is IT. Full stop. 🏆

Read moreThis resto-bar has a friendly and attentive staff. There are many food options including fresh-made pizzas and "specials". Prices are fair and serving sizes are adequate. There is live music on Friday night with very talented singers. After their music sets or during breaks, local karaoke performers also do a great job entertaining. My most recent food experience was a newly offered "cold cuts board" with several meats, cheeses, fruits, and home-made bread, with a liver pate on the side. It was very good. Other diners who were having it, also gave it a thumbs-up. My daughter-in-law had a pork ribs special. She described it as "really good". I have had the ribs in the past, and also enjoyed them. Of course, rice is always available but as a north American, I appreciate their freshly made mashed potatoes with gravy. The bar appears to be well stocked, having bottled beers, draft beer in a frozen glass (my favorite), and varied mixed cocktails. Again, prices seem fair for alcohol. The atmosphere is welcoming with a mixture of expats from around the world, with and without partners, tourists, single Filipinos, and Filipino families. Give this place a try, I think you...
