Food Hunters - Authentic Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Dauis

UPDATE: I stopped in tonight on my way back from Wilcon Depot. Everything is HOT and FRESH and amazing! The only question I have is if you are reading my review... why are you not already here! 10 Stars if possible!

I messaged Food Hunters - and SURPRISE! They actually messaged me back right away! I asked if they delivered. They said they used Maxim. My Maxim app doesn't work - they handled the order from there end. I started my chat at 5:18 pm and order was done by 5:20 pm. Two minutes to order my food! Then at 6:24 my food arrived. I was about 25 minutes from the restaurant and they still delivered. My Margherita Pizza and Ravioli with pomodoro sauce were on the cooler side when they arrived - (not surprising since I expected they would be since I was far from the restaurant and they still delivered.) The ravioli's were still delicious - even though they were on the cool/cold side. The Margherita Pizza was EXACTLY what I have been looking for! A Great Pizza with amazing sauce and crust. My only regret was being too tired to drive over to the restaurant so I could enjoy them fresh and hot. Next time I will! My new go to for Pizza and Italian! If you are reading this review - stop - and make arrangements to just go to the restaurant and order your food! ...

Highly recommended!!! I was exceptionally surprised by a friend who suggested this restaurant for a meeting and was there for the first time. The owners came to our table and introduced themselves by name. Since I enjoyed the food so much and was also pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality of the food, I went back with friends. I was immediately greeted by name (I can't remember names even after seeing them several times). That evening, three of us ordered bruschetta as a starter and three different pizzas. The starter was more than plentiful for three. After the starter, the pizzas all arrived at the table at the same time, with about a five-minute break, which is unfortunately not the case with most restaurants in the PH. All the pizzas were excellent and, being big eaters, we couldn't finish everything. The owner neatly packed the leftovers in a pizza box for us to take away. In short, I'll be happy...

I’m lucky to live just five minutes from The Food Hunters, and most of the time, their food is excellent. I’ve enjoyed their pizzas, steaks, and sandwiches many times — always happy with those choices.

That said, consistency can vary a little. For example, I recently ordered the marinara focaccia, and it wasn’t quite what I expected — the tomatoes weren’t as fresh, and the seasoning was a bit off compared to previous times when it was amazing - see picture

Overall, I still recommend this place for the great dishes they do so well — just keep in mind that, like any restaurant, there can be the occasional miss. When they get it right (which is most of the time),...
