Chowking — Restaurant in Davao City

Ordered food at Chowking Matina Crossing (Davao City CK3117) - 1 sweet & sour chicken lauriat and 1 sweet & sour pork solo. Menu encoded at 22:59 pm. Inside there were just 2 tables dining, 1 is getting done. While we are in the waiting. Counter did not advise expected time of food to be served, if there will be delays or not. Went near the kitchen twice after 5 and 10 minutes roughly, i saw nobody busy preparing for food except for most of the crew stationed at the counter for drive-thru and Milksha counter. We came in bcoz we were really hungry as we ran late from an appointment and we chose the store as it is the nearest fast food resto. But it's not fast enough. At 23:14 i raised my table number for ff up bcoz the crew (which i think is not few in numbers to cater to a single dine in order, there is no long line of drive thru or food panda/grab at this time), we were famished. And their serving is taking long. At 23:18, food is served but 1 order is wrong. At 23:20, waiter came back with the correct food. We were not yet technically finished dining but they turned off the light on our area. No advisory if they will be closing for maintenance or what not, still it would be courteous to at least inform 2 remaining tables of customers. Such poor customer service. Strategic location but service is not...

The place was nice and clean, but damn I hated their service. I ordered 1 chicken lauriat and 1 siomai rice. I specifically told the lady that I want 2 sprite, no ice. Yet she gave us coke. When I requested for additional chili oil, the lady refused and told me that I should pay if I needed additional, even though, both of my orders have siomai. On top of it all, since we could not finish our meal, I asked to have it packed for take out, initially, the guy gave me 2 plastic bags. Remember, I ordered lauriat. I think they're expecting me to mix the food in that plastic like some kind of pig's food. When I asked for a decent box to put my food in, they asked me to pay for it. I understand that those are counted during inventory, but never have I experienced this from other branches. Will not go back there again. (Tbh I wouldn't have complained if they didn't ask me to pay for that extra chili oil. What kind of a sane person...

First, the crew is friendly, even the security guard. They will really greet you as you enter, as you order, and as you leave with a full and satisfied stomach.

Second, the fastfood branch is really spacious and it is not crowded on weekdays before lunch or in between 1-4pm. They need to let the room colder though, this is one cons from a spacious food establishment.

Third, the food is delicious. The recipe and the taste are as the same as the other branches BUT disappointingly, the beef mami's noodles were soggy and mushy, I don't how they did that and that was the very first time I had a mushy beef mami in the establishment. The soup and the meat still tastes delicious though Overall, it is a good place to eat to, but the services for the equip. and some food(the aircon) need some...
