Roberto's Restobar — Restaurant in Donsol

Absolutely fantastic food! This is the nicest restaurant this side of the Donsol river, and their prices are very affordable and fair. The menu showcases their Hamburger specialty, but they still offer the Filipino standard dishes. We stayed at the attached Villa Peralta Inn for a week and had breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner here every day (though the restaurant is currently only open to the public for dinner). Everything they served was wonderful. Their unique burgers rival some of the best burger shops in the US (especially the bacon wrapped cheese bomb!) and the Filipino dishes are so well done. Zarlene is the Mastermind behind the recipes. Her selected combination of ingredients are remarkably well balanced and so very delicious. She has real talent. Prepare smaller bills because if you pay thousand pesos it will take 20 mins for them to give the change which is irritating. I was one bite to finishing the chicken wrap I ordered and they still can’t figure out how are they going to give the change. But the food is okay, accommodation is also okay-ish. But, yeah check it out...

Good location before or after doing the firefly tour which is just a few meters away. Friendly and accommodating staff and they let us park while we're on the tour.

Tried their pansit ala pobre - is ok, they have a different twist by adding tomatoes and using pasta, Italian pansit(?)
