On Saturday 12/16 I had the pleasure of dining here. As a fourth generation Chicagoan I am always excited to see a “Chicago Style” something overseas. I saw the menu and had to try. I ordered the Italian Stalion, a beef and the special lasagna. Zero regrets. I genuinely believe that the food in Philippines is borderline average at best and confusingly spicy at worst. The pizza was hand tossed in front of me. On demand. I requested thinner and Lee-Boy obliged. He thinned it out as much as I have seen in PH. By hand. I requested well done. He cooked 8 minutes more than average. And also confirmed its doneness with me before cutting and boxing. The crust came out perfectly delicious for being virgin as in states right now there is heavy use of butter and oils on crust. This was pure. The cheese mixture was delicious. Not too much or too little of any of these glorious competing flavors. The homemade Italian sausage also used in lasagne would pass anywhere in Chicago as excellent. This is the finest single pizza I’ve had in all of Asia. I recommend it , well done, to any Thin Crust sausage and onion lovers. There was only bliss zero shortcomings. It was truly the complete package. On to the beef. Wrapped in especially sweaty wax paper magically appeared a “Chicago style French loaf” loaded - truly loaded to American portion expectations, of shaved beef slices that anxiously waited in au jus to be ordered. I was hoping to eat half of this and save rest for tomorrow. I ordered with mozzarella and peppers. It was just like being at Johnnys back home. They also didn’t soak and ruin the bun. The bun to meat ratio was spot on. I finished the whole sandwich within 10 minutes of first bite. Competing with a huge pizza and lasagna. The price is irrelevant compared to the flavors preserved so well here. This is a very, very special sandwich. Finally. The weekly special of lasagna. Upon entering , Karen advised there was a special and instructed me to the chalkboard. A $450 PHP lasagna!!! Said my eyes. But my belly knew better. I asked Lee Boy to show me the goods before buying. He rolled out an old school style lasagna tray lightly covered in foil and bursting at the seams. Only one piece was missing. I immediately added to my order. The portion is truly American sized. It is five layered with real cheese! (Not cream cheese) filling!!!! And loaded with the same Italian sausage made by Asian - Italian American food Jesus. A generous portion of tasty marinara on the side. Worth every least penny. Topped generously with melted cheese. If I hadn’t already completely devoured the beef sandwich. , I would’ve been able to finish the lasagna in same sitting - I think. Overall, I cannot find any fault with my order. Everything was absolutely satisfying. No cheap ingredients. The flavors on all three dishes , and portion sizes , would’ve certainly fooled me in a blind taste test. Until Rosatis or Portillos opens a Dumaguete branch, this is joint is the king of Chicago style in the Negros Oriental. 11/10...

Kind and smiling staff Fast serving Big portions Good presentation of the product Price, quality to quantity is ok I had the "Philly cheese steak sub" and it had a really very tasty but little little fresh coleslaw, yummy fries and a sweat cookie and of course everything was very tasty and the meat was juicy with the influence of the cheese but...
o American food is very oily that's why it's tasty but therefore not very healthy, the bread of the sub absorbed the oil but it's not abnormal it is an US standard I want only inform you.
Its a very small restaurant, more filipino ambience, open air, no aircon if you eat hot spicey you will definitely sweating
They have a mini restroom and unhappily you have to go inside the kitchen area to wash your hands there...
For an American restaurant I wished to see sauces on the table like different sauces, a barbecue sauce or maybe the original Tabasco because the hot sauce on the table wasn't really good...

Read moreWe ordered a Chicago deep dish pizza and tried the beef plate while waiting. The sandwich platter was good, the slaw fresh and the fries were the star of the plate. The Italian beef was made well but no au jus to be be found. Instead they constructed in like a chicken Parm sandwich which although tasty for what is was, was not close to Chicago Italian beef I was expecting. As for the pizza, the dough was fresh and there was plenty of cheese to satisfy the base layer. Although the ingredients were fresh, they lacked volume, hence the pie was "lighter" than it should have been. Finally, the sauce was excellent but insufficient, doubling the sauce would have been about right. An application of garlic butter to the crust would have worked wonders with double the sauce and 50% more ingredients. It was a start, with room to grow, I look forward to visiting again to see if any enhancements through trial and feedback were made. Lastly, I hope there's an advertising plan devised, this location is off the main road and not in Valencia or Dumaguete, locals as well as others need to find and frequent the Hideout for it to possess...
