Lauro's Restaurant - Shell of Asia — Restaurant in Guiguinto

This was unfortunately, the only place open when we arrived and we were very hungry. We were stopped by a waiter at the door and he told us that there are no more tables available when there were obviously a lot! That would normally stop us from entering the darn place but we were hungry.

The floor was filthy. Check out the pics I posted. That's after I asked the same waiter who stopped us to mop the floor -- at least for our table. There was a pile of dishes on the table beside us and it stayed there until we finished eating.

The food, like their service, is bland and the serving is small for the price. They also served us burnt Crispy Pata (see pics)

I wouldnt recommend this place, not even...

When you're starving to death and just want to try something else from the usual food chains around this Shell of Asia pitstop, you could try this but it will just basically satisfy your empty stomach but not your palate. Nothing outstanding from what we ordered and the serving is too small for its price. Not a pleasant customer service overall too. They also sell some "pasalubong" products (sweets & snacks from the North). Attention: manager/owner of Lauro's Cafe you may want to consider your customers...

WORST restaurant! Gave 1 star because there's no ZERO or NEGATIVE STAR. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE! 😠 Took more than an hour for our order to arrive and when it did....the worst! Can't even tell if it's ONION sisig, CHILI sisig or FAT sisig. The palabok....i think they forgot to put the sauce, no taste at all. What's WORSE, it is VERY EXPENSIVE! Wala lang ibang choice kaya napapasok itong restaurant na ito. Will definitely NOT comeback and NOT recommend! No redeeming factor....
