This Cafe is inside Palacio de Laoag Hotel. It is a cozy, classy with a beautiful decor and set up. They offer a variety of menus and made to order. For breakfast, we ordered a longaniza with rice and egg (2), corned beef with potatoes and egg (2). These are included in their promo if you booked a night's (or more) stay. Their egg is a sunny side up style and it's just cooked perfectly, the yolk oozing as you cut it. Longaniza is Ilocos style, lots of garlic and the corned beef is american style. As a starter, they give you a pandesal and butter ( it would have been more enjoyable if it was hot) but no complains. On the side, we ordered pakbet Ilocano style and Bagnet. Pakbet is a little salty in my opinion and the eggplant a little raw. Bagnet was served with slices of red onion and tomatoes with anchovy sauce (bagoong). It's a little skimpy on the serving. We came back for lunch and ordered pancit Canton and meat lovers pizza. Pancit Canton tastes beyond excellent, steaming hot and freshly cooked so as the pizza. My only criticism is the pizza's crust, very thin, not enough cheese and toppings and cheese used is low quality. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe/restaurant. For value of money, it's a little bit pricy, service is excellent, swift and quick, food comes out fresh from the kitchen and staff are always smiling. Go and try them out just to feel the ambience of a vintage decor, Ilocano dishes and a nice and quiet place.
