Bugoy's Seafood Resto — Restaurant in Iloilo City

The place and ambiance was relaxing as it was beside the sea (No shore though). The aesthetics looks appealing as the cottages were made of bamboos and wood. They have a swing bench were you can relax and take a photo. They also have a small playground for your children to play. The only downside was, the place was too crowded during our visit. So we had to wait for accommodation roughly around 15 minutes only.

There wasn't enough fan for all the tables. So expect that you will sweat a bit while eating. It's open air, there is no area with aircon accomodation.

The food tastes okay, just your typical Filipino dish, no wow factor really. They served the food roughly about 15 to 30 minutes. The waiters and servers are well trained. Each guests have 5% discount if you present your vaccination card. They also give discounts for PWD and senior citizen customers.

The price of the food is just average. We were 11, our bill was around 4,400 I think. The discount was arpund 100. So we paid 4,300. Each person would cost...

Ordered grilled seabass with the head and 2 slices cooked into soup with lots of veggies ( the grilled fish was tasty and moist), the battered chicken was okay, but was more like fried chicken rather than battered, because of the big slices. We ordered grilled pork for our dog and she loved eating under the table where we tied her. There were a variety of choices but i was on a self-imposed diet restrictions and not that hungry. I like it that they have an adjacent coffee shop serving coffee and pastries/cakes and one doesn't need to move to another coffee place. Service was quick and i like the fact that they served my orders all together. In other places they serve your orders piecemeal ( sometimes serving the soup later than the others), and since it was a Sunday, there was quite a crowd ( maybe a hundred...

Dined here on Sat night. -Ample parking space dedicated for Bugoy’s customers -The staffs are very welcoming! -Food is great! Can’t post any vid/photos kay may mga hitsura namin pero lahat yata nagustuhan namin - crispy pata, shanghai, kasag, calamares, pancit sotanhon, cheesy talaba (eto the best talaga to!), etc -Even if we ordered so many from the menu, waiting time is only 30mins -The restaurant has a playground and a IGable reception area where you can take photos, chill, and play with your kids while food is being prepared. The dining areas are beside the coast so maganda din view :) -Better to reserve in advance via call if you are a large group
