Tierra Vega Café — Restaurant in Kalibo

A neighborhood café serving good coffee and atmosphere, Tierra Vega is popular among students and professionals alike. The establishment's main attraction lies in its strong, industrial aesthetic — steel construction, full-length glazing, clerestory windows, and wood accents.

As for their food and refreshments, it is a bang for your buck; portions for their waffles and pasta can easily be shared between 2 people, while their caffeinated drinks are not overly sweet and have no unpleasant bitterness.

Tierra Vega also has wifi, allowing patrons to browse the web or even do light tasks while enjoying their meal. Unfortunately, their free wifi has limited time connectivity. On the other hand, there were plenty of reading materials to keep yourself busy, with genres ranging from fashion, to lifestyle, to even pet ownership.

Nice Staff. Loved the Spinach Pasta! Delicious. The Penne pasta dish with hungarian sausage with an American tasting marinara, not the sweet Filipino marinara lol, was delicious! Both are served with a slice of toasted bread. The Mango Shakes are good. When I went to order a cheese pizza however, they only had 1 kind 😒 The lemon ginger tea was ok. More lemon than ginger but hey, I'd try this establishment...

Overall, it's a nice and cozy cafe. A bit far from the city center but I think the food and coffee options are worth the distance. I highly recommend their carrot cake. It's rich, it's decadent, and it not too expensive. There's also a lot of seating areas. You can catch up with your friends or do a lil bit of work. I wish they have more savory options, though. But I will definitely go back...
