Hi, I would like to make a commendation regarding to your crew last June 5 2024. We arrived around 5:00 pm that day for the celebration of my birthday. We made a reservation and requested for an alfresco table. Upon arriving, the crew was very welcoming to us. From the parking, the security guard assisted us immediately, waving his hand with a smile 😊 after he saw our car signaling going left to your restaurant. He greeted us nicely and warm. Afterwards the crew who was assigned at the front desk welcome us as well with a genuine smile and immediately assisted us. After informing her that I made a reservation, she already knew my name and assisted us to our table and endorsed us to the waiters that will assist us for our stay. It was really amazing that we felt that they really prepared for our arrival and granted all the request that we made. The food was really great and they even gave us some complementary salad. All of the waiter are smiling while getting our orders, they recommended some food that are best sellers and shows that they are really knowledgeable with the food that they offer. Then after they served all the orders that we had, the my surprised me with a cake and sang the “happy birthday song”. 🤍 I want to specifically commend the waiters who assisted us whole heartedly and genuinely. their names are Hennessy, Mj and CJ. These waiters shows how much they love their job. They embodied outstanding characteristics of an excellent waiter. “Maalaga, magalang, malambing, magaling.” They are really one of the assets of your restaurant. Hoping their hard-work can be recognized with this review. Please continue to have these kind of service that you offer. We will definitely consider to be back soon at your restaurant and recommend it with our friends and relatives.

Thank you so much for the excellent service and a memorable celebration that we had at your...

overall experience was nice! the view did have a view of taal so that’s one of the good things. we came here with honestly no expectations as we mainly wanted a restaurant with a view, though the view has been in my list of want to go and finally it’s happened!

the reservation process was smooth and we were able to reserve for 7 easily at lunch time. though it is notable that i think the vibe is much better downstairs as they have a second floor seating.

they’re food was good!! we ordered as follows:

•marley pasta 🍝 — the bread was a bit tough, but the pasta itself is flavorful with red tomato sauce and pesto combined! it’s a good mix with tuna and capers •kare kare — they serve this on the bed of sauce, so you don’t at first see that there’s sauce. i like that it’s presented this way so the toppings are not overly sauced, but i do feel like it lacked nuttiness to it as maybe i didn’t put enough sauce. it also has crispy pork (though this could be juicier? but perfectly crispy!!) and well fried vegetables •sisig — sisig was also perfectly crispy and tasty! we had a bit of leftover, so when we did eat that i think it tasted even better as the flavors have seeped in well •bulalo — bulalo was okay. everyone liked it, but i think it’s okay but it does taste as it should and the meat tender enough to chew through with a bit of litid. •pakbet — they have pakbet that has shrimp! shrimp was bouncy and juicy and it’s enticing the way it’s topped. the vegetables here were also well stir-fried. •creme brulee — at first it just looked normal, but every layer hit the spot. it’s perfectly sweet in that it’s not too much and the subtle creaminess and sponge perfectly balance the sweeter creme brulee topping!!

would want to come back to try their other non-filipino best seller dishes and the creme...

We had lunch here right after Holy Week in April 2025. The location is great, set in a spot with a scenic view of Taal Lake, which added a relaxing atmosphere to our dining experience. The place is also pet-friendly, which is a big plus for those traveling with furry companions.

We ordered Bulalo, Sweet and Sour Tilapia, Pork Sisig, and Mango Shake. The Pork Sisig and Mango Shake were decent, nothing particularly outstanding, but enjoyable enough.

However, we found the Sweet and Sour Tilapia to have a noticeable aftertaste. Based on the flavor, it seemed like the tilapia was sourced from freshwater rather than the sea, which can affect its taste depending on personal preference. It wasn’t spoiled, but the flavor might not be for everyone.

The biggest letdown was the Bulalo. While the broth itself was flavorful, the vegetables served with it were raw, not even halfway cooked. To their credit, the staff was responsive and provided us with a replacement serving of vegetables and extra soup, which we appreciated.

The restroom is located downstairs. It was clean enough to be usable, though I’d say its overall cleanliness was just average.

In summary, the view and pet-friendly environment are the highlights of this place. The food had some hits and misses, and there’s room for improvement in preparation and consistency. The price are quite expensive based on what we've experienced and food quality. With a few tweaks in the kitchen, this could be a go-to spot for...

The View certainly lives up to its name, but it offers far more than just a beautiful outlook. Perched in a location that allows guests to enjoy sweeping vistas, it’s the kind of place where you might first be drawn in for the scenery but leave talking about everything else. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are not only polite but genuinely accommodating, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer passing through. During our visit, we ordered a variety of dishes to share, and each one impressed us. The bulalo was rich and comforting, with tender beef and a flavorful broth that felt like a warm hug in a bowl. The bangus was cooked perfectly — flaky, tasty, and well-seasoned. The Cajun shrimp salad brought a refreshing balance, with crisp greens and a gentle spice that complemented the sweetness of the shrimp. The adobo rice was a savory treat on its own, with that signature adobo flavor infused into every bite. And the pancit guisado was classic and satisfying, with generous portions of vegetables, meat, and perfectly cooked noodles. What makes The View special is the combination of elements: the breathtaking scenery, the delicious food, and the attentive, friendly service. It’s the kind of place that invites you to linger a little longer, enjoying both the dishes and the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I've been to tagaytay so many times, but seldomly go to this part of tagaytay that after sky ranch, normally just stay along sm wind area. I saw the tiktok there is someone posting the video of this place with a view so I give him a try. Honestly its a bit traffic going there kasi maybe when I went there is Sunday so many cars going back to Manila, the place is small only two floors for restaurant, on the ground floor only around less than 10 tables can accommodates totally around 40 people, 2nd floor I guess is the same. The parking space is small in the front door around 10-12 cars can be accommodated but its double parking so if someone inside will leave the one parks outside needs to move his car. The place is good din, with a nice view of the taal, also the mountains and house below. The day we went there is a bit cool and we are sitting outdoor its really nice. The food for me just ok, there are different choices filipino food, italian food, there is set meals also have alaca, but for me just not enough choice for the filipino food thats also because the space is small they can not have too many food. It took around 30 mins to prepare the food, we ordered lechon kawali and pork sigsig for me is just ok. The price is also acceptable considering we are in Tagaytay. For me is 3.5/5 for this restarant
