I heard that Eduvigis was the name of the owner, but what brought us here originally was their Pistachio Sansrival Cake. There are 3 dining experiences: aircon, alfresco, and upstairs (didn't get to go up yet but maybe it's alfresco too). In the aircon area, they have 1 TV and some Marilyn Monroe pictures.
Crispy Spareribs I'm not much into it since we've already had many dishes to share. I had one piece only but the serving size was as satisfying as everything else's.
Mango Layer Shake You're basically bound for a sweet and sour experience. It's a half ripe and green mango shake and each flavor stays in place. I was tempted to mix everything but I wanted to appreciate each distinct flavor, back and forth, back and forth!
Nut Crusted Salmon This was one of our favorites! Salmon was cooked well and its rice could be mixed with any dish without regret. Nuts and veggies gave it an extra crunchy to make the food textures more interesting!
Oven Roasted Garlic Chicken Like the salmon, this was another healthy choice we loved sharing. Seeing its name in the menu was already enthralling! Meat was tasty, juicy, tender, and very easy to cut.
Roast Beef Top choice goes to this dish for having tender beef with a subtly addicting gravy and very, very finely mashed potatoes. The potatoes were so good we finished nearly three-fourths before barely starting on the roast beef!
Seafood Pesto Pasta It had a simple variety of seafood and some simple bread, but may be too simple. I'll say it was somewhere between just-right and tasty.
I enjoyed their service and definitely their alkaline service water. We should put healthy veggies or produce in our water pitchers at...
Read moreHello boys and girls, I would count eduvigis as a gastropub. Leaning towards a more bar-ry feel instead of a restaurant type of deal. Known for its pastries but the menu is also varies from dishes from international cuisine. I would say it does a pretty good job with its dishes despite the low quality meat that you would encounter here in lucena. Would recommend the pancit chami from non quezonians which the place offers a unique twist, their crispy pata with bagoong rice, and lastly their pastries which are on par with places like conti's and major bakeshops.
A bit pricey for an average person. Would be good for special occasions or some for brewskies with the boiis. Entertainment from live bands during weekends make the place more lively and no worries about parking because because of its location.
Personal note: I dont recommend the sandwiches because mainly of the price. The ingridients used are very common just in somewhat larger quantities to make the sandwiches more filling but in conclusion the price is not worth a sandwich. I suggest just buy more beer or dessert.
Overall Food - 3 Ambiance - 3 Price - 2.5 Service - 4.5 Total -...
Read moreStaff at the counter was unfriendly when asked about their gelatos prices and she was size up the customer if I can afford their gelato since I was wearing only a simple t-shirt. When I asked the price of each gelato flavor she rudely answered me that the price ranges from P320 to more than P320. When I pee in the restroom, the waiter banged on the door to hurry me up. When I opened the door and asked why WA the waiter banged on the door, the lady staff said that they were checking if the lock of the door was okay. What a flimsy reason. I will never recommend a place like this where the Supervisor is rude and sizing up their customers if one can afford it or not! I had a slice of pistachio sansrival and my companion has tables chocolate cake and...
