FOOD - Chicken fingers: cold, not crunchy anymore. Dipping sauce is good though, wish it was more generous than a teaspoon serving. Shrimp pasta: Dry as hell but the pasta was al dente. Should have been okay because the flavor is there but it was cold. Bagnet kare-kare: I don’t know what’s up with them and their sauces because everything that we ordered lacked sauces. Could have enjoyed this dish but the sauce was merely 3 tablespoons. Again flavor is there, but for the price and portion it’s not worth it. Also cold! Beef lengua: Lengua was soft, it was actually yummy - but cold Small serving portions & lack of taste could have been compensated by the food being hot and freshly cooked, considering they make you wait atleast 30 minutes. SERVICE - They don’t have a system when sitting customers & taking orders. They have a hostess but they just let customers find tables and sit themselves. We requested table for 4, we were advised the table will be setup and we were asked to wait, meanwhile atleast 4 other groups just went in and sat themselves. Finally we just did the same thing, and that was the only time our table was set. ATMOSPHERE - The place is nice, my family thinks that what you really pay for is the view. They have a big parking space so no worries even if the place gets crowded. I wouldn’t really recommend going if you are particular with food and if you live far but you can still try for experience. I am not sure if they are still on soft opening so hopefully they read the reviews and take note of what needs to be improved.

Hill House Dining is one of the places that I have been looking into eating and since there were changes in their hours of operations to June 10 from 5pm to 1am for that specific day only as posted on their Facebook page. We travelled from Ortigas to their place and once we got there around a few minutes before 11pm, the guard mentioned that they were already closed. Feeling disappointed and a bit hungry, we decided to park for a bit in hopes of looking for a new place to eat. Suddenly after a few minutes, a staff member approached us and mentioned that they can accommodate us in the restaurant. We were kinda skeptical to enter at first but decided to go anyway. The night view is quite amazing around the restaurant. We decided to go for Truffle Fries, Nachos, a Caesar salad and Coffee. When the food arrived, we were shocked by the amount of salad that was served. The nachos’ and fries’ serving were decent considering the price. As for the taste, the salad tasted great with real pieces of cheese with enough croutons. The nachos were served warm with thin chips that were crunchy and tasted amazing. The truffle fries were as expected. Though we felt a little rushed and sad about the false information on their page, one of their male staff is particularly nicer than the rest. I do hope that my next visit, if there should be any, will have better service but with the amazing food and view, I probably would.

We were looking for a lunch place while on a road trip to antipolo and we stumbled upon this. The view was great though it was a hot day that day. They have electric fans on the wall but it seems not enough. They do not accept reservations on weekends and luckily, we were able to still get a table for 6. Food was good though a bit on the pricey side. Our server rocky helped us on the menu items, giving us detailed description. Cold coffee was great! Iced latte and the soanish latte are what we have tried and it was really good! Service was a bit weird though there were many staff. One time we called a staff to add an item to our order and she said she will call another staff for that. Turned out she was a trainee and not allowed yet to take food orders. Would be better if she had a trainee badge so the customers will know and be more understanding when he/she says that. Other than that, service was great. Dessert, we tried the kamias pie. It was a bit disappointing as they said it was their best seller. And i wondered who it would be like. I was looking for that sour taste only to find that it tastes more of a leche flan with hint of sourness and more on the sweet side. This place also have a nice and cozy event space overlooking the city esp for intimate gatherings. Overall, do try this restaurant when you’re in Antipolo. Maybe I will be back for their cold coffee on a hot day 😀

Went there before sunset so the view wasn’t at its best since you can see the crowdedness and chaos of the urban landscape. But the view was good, still. Perhaps the view at night with the city lights would be better. The food and service, however, were wanting.

First, the menu was confusing. It had a legend which should have supposedly indicated which items on the menu are for sharing. Yet we found out as we gave the waiter our orders that not all items that were for sharing had the legend. It’s impossible to know at a glance which items can be shared by friends and family.

Second, the serving sizes were too small for the hefty price, even for the menu items that were supposedly for sharing. Please don’t come for me for complaining about the serving sizes being too small for the price. I’ve been to many other places with a similar price point but gave us more value for our money. Below is our review of the food we ordered:

Beef Kare-Kare

Before we ordered, we asked the waiter whether the kare-kare was made of pure meat, and we were told that it was. When it was served, it also had towel and tongue in it. For the price of ₱780 + VAT, the serving size was also too small. Pork Sisig

The sisig was dry. It looked and tasted nothing like the typical sisig at all. It seems like they only grilled some pork meat, minced some onions and chilis then just mixed them in a bowl. The portion was especially small considering that it was supposedly for sharing. Serving size and taste was not worth the price of ₱485 + VAT. Thrice Cooked Adobo

The price was ₱350 + VAT for a solo meal that only had TWO (2) small cuts of meat, both with a thick layer of fat. Taste was so-so. I don’t know how they do their costing. Beef Caldereta

The taste was good but, again, the serving size was too small for its price. Fried Chicken

Too pricey (₱655 + VAT) for only four (4) pieces and some sides. We had two (2) pieces left over. Chocolate Mousse

Yummy but too expensive for the size of the slice.

Overall, if you only want a nice view, this is your place to go. But if you also want good food and a good bang for your buck, there are many other places in Antipolo that will...

We went to this place for a Sunday lunch back in the last week of June 2025. It started raining on our way there. Upon reaching the location, the weather is already gloomy and the rain is starting to pour. Upon reaching the reception area which outside right before you step into the covered area of restaurant, we were asked to sit in a waiting bench as the available table was being prepared.

We were called to be seated after about 5 minutes by the polite staff. However, since it was raining and the wind is very gusty, the view where we were seated was blocked with a big tarp and we understand that it's for us to be protected from the rain and the wind hence, we were not able to take pictures of the area.

We ordered Calamari as an appetizer. While it was Beef Callos and Shrimp, and Squid Gambas for our main, then Cucumber Lemonade and Lychee Fizz for our drinks. Food was good. Beef callos tasted like an authentic Spanish callos that’s tomato-ey and has that sauce density similar to caldereta. Shrimp and Squid Gambas is also a good choice because the squid is cooked just right and not chewy at all, while the shrimps were beyond average size and were very plump. It tasted salty and savory.

The only downside we noticed was that, considering the price, the serving sizes are relatively small. It’s important to follow the menu indicators for dishes marked “good for sharing” or “for solo pax only.” If you have a big appetite, a solo serving might feel more like a side dish which was our experience. So, we highly recommend going for dishes meant for sharing para hindi ka mabitin.

Overall, we had a good experience. The food was enjoyable, but we weren’t able to fully appreciate the ambiance due to the rainy weather. To make the most of both the food and the location, it's best to visit during the summer or on a clear, dry day. Just a heads-up—they include a service charge of...
