I have been a Shakeys service crew during my college days. I so love everything about Shakeys that even now that there are more pizza restaurants, we just keep coming back to Shakeys. Today, on our way to Clark, we stopped by at Shakeys NLEX Marilao, Bulacan and had the worst dining experience ever. It was already pass the peak time for lunch, the place wasn’t fully occupied. We asked for a table for 5 & asked if we can have a table with seats that we can sit comfortably cause it’s almost 2hrs drive to Clark. The crew replied in a tone bordering to arrogance but we decided to just let it that one pass. We took our seat, and it took us awhile before we get to finalize our orders because she can poorly make a suggestion for Shakeys card holders like us. As we waited for our food, another lady in denims approached us and told us that the store does not allow pets inside, cause we have our Himalayan kitten with us, all the time that they were taking our orders, they knew we have the kitten with us cause we cant leave it inside the car na mainet sa loob. THE STORE DO NOT HAVE ANY SIGN THAT PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. We were not told that pets are not allowed when we entered the store, looked for a table where we can sit, not even when we were trying to decide what to order. It was like BUDOL to make us order first and inform us of their ‘no pets allowed’ rule only after awhile that our orders were already forwarded at the kitchen. Then, as they bring to the table the plates & utensils, look at how messy it’s done, see photo. The plate was placed on top of the fork all in a paper placemat carelessly laid, IS THIS HOW THEY DO IT NOW AT SHAKEYS? When our food was served, the lady in the denim pants BASTA BINAGSAK LANG PO UNG PLATE OF PASTA sa mesa na kahet rinig nya ung malakas na sound nung plate of pasta against sa plate ko, she did not even bother to say ‘excuse me’ kung bastos sya at ayaw nya mag-‘sorry’. BASTA LANG TUMALIKOD, buti pa mga tindera sa karinderia, di kasing bastos ng babaeng yan. Now, we ordered an additional choco shake, it was served w/o straw. Our water sa pitcher, kailangan pa namen ask to be refilled. When we asked to pack for take out our left overs, ayaw pa kumilos.
Grabeh po, sobrang nakaka-wala ng gana kumain mga rudeness nila.
I mean, their store which is at NLEX should give them an idea that customers who would drop by might be on the road already for hours or will be on the road driving for hour, so, we would appreciate an ounce of politeness kahet ung ‘standard’ na level of politeness man lng if they cannot be genuinely polite.
And please, PUT A SIGN OUTSIDE THE STORE THAT YOUR BRANCH IS NOT PET FRIENDLY.
Huwag po ung papa-upuin nyo kame, papa-orderin at after awhile pagtapos namen mag-order nyo pa sasabihin na “no pets allowed”. Kawawa ung Himalayan kitten namen na napilitan namen iwan sa loob ng car. 😞
Dati ako crew ng Shakeys and never ko ginawa mga ginawa nyo sa amen kanina dyan sa branch nyo. i hope no other customer will experience the same kse sinisira nyo good customer service...

Food: Carbonara is perfect; Hawaiian delight is okay (I had a little taste of pilsen, I don't know why, and coworker says he didn't had that taste); Garlic bread is okay; Chicken in chicken and mojos is salty (my co-worker says, it's okay for him). I don't know if I only had weird taste that time.
Service accepted is attentive, especially that their POS is just behind my seat.
Place is a little bit small but we had enough space to enjoy our food.
Since it's been years since the last time I ate at a Shakey's, I think menu is quite limited and wasn't expecting that we are literally eating at a fast food. Read moreWe waited for more than 25 mins for our "take-out" pizzas to find out that they were just sitting there waiting to be served. Had I not ask, it would have taken even longer. I thought the amount of staff was enough for the number of guests but all of them seem too preoccupied to take care of the guests. A lot of the tables were still a mess since nobody bothered to clean up soon after their guests took off.
