Been eating here for awhile and had been quite familiar with the menu on the multiple visits Ive had here. Its a small place along the road near subdivision which is accessible and easy to navigate however no actual parking, the guard at the subdivsion will let you park inside though just let them know youre going to Mon Cheri.
Atmosphere: (9/10) The place is small, and intimate, with perfect lighting and the ambience is just perfect a date or brunch. The music sets off a mood that is literally chill and makes you relax which is awesome for dine in patrons. You can literally stay and hangout for hours, but who has the time for that.
Service: (9/10) Servers are polite and very accomodating. Excellent menu recommendations and caters to your needs. They even have a bell for you to ring so no need to be afraid of that awkward hand raising which sometimes gets ignored in some restaurants.
Food: (8.5/10) Ive been here a lot so imma go ahead and just give recommendations and the ones to avoid
Steak Frites, always my go to order. Cooked to your likeness, juicy, tender, and well seasoned. This comes with a salad and some fries which goes amazing with it. Definitely one to order.
Double chicken burger. Now this actually tied with House special burger but this one is just delightful. The crispy batter of the chicken, their house sauce which brings tang with a kick to the sandwich. I think if they just changed out the cucumber with a pickle instead then this would be golden. Paired with their fries, this is my ideal brunch meal.
Truffle cream pasta. Steer clear of this. Nothing special, you could order something else. Basically its just a cream pasta with a drizzle of truffle oil, garnished with some mushrooms and a very concerning garlic bread which is soaked with butter. I meant that when I said soaked. Its literally wet, no crisp at all.
Pesto Chicken. Another one to steer clear of. Other than the butter soaked bread, the pesto is kind of lacking with its sauce. I love pesto, and this isnt pesto enough for me. And the chicken that comes with, I mean, this isn't Jollibee where you have a nice tender juicy chicken with the pasta, no. Its dry, marinated but not with pesto, and not tender at all. The whole plate was just a disaster. Though its stated on the menu, believe. MUST NOT TRY.
Overall, theres a reason why I keep coming here, and would come again and again. Great food, accomodating servers, and ambience. Bring your SO here on your next Brunch...

Cafe Overview Recently, we decided to try out this cafe for lunch. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Here's a breakdown of our meal and overall impressions.
Menu Selections 🥩 Steak with Salad and Fries 🧀 OG Baked Mac with Chicken 🦑 Calamari
Detailed Dish Reviews
🥩 Steak with Salad and Fries (3/10) Lasa at Texture: Average lang ang lasa. Ang cut ay manipis at hindi malambot, which was a major letdown for a steak dish.
Value for Money: Sa presyo nito, you'd expect better quality. Mas maganda pa ang steak sa ibang restos for the same price point.
Sides: Salad: Sobrang konti, parang afterthought lang. Ang dressing ay overpoweringly sweet. Tapos yung picture sa FB page is different sa sinerve sa amin.
Fries: Decent naman, but nothing extraordinary.
OG Baked Mac with Chicken (6/10) Overall Impression: Eto lang ang medyo nagustuhan ko.
Sauce: Medyo salty, pero tolerable pa rin.
Chicken Pleasantly tender, complementing the pasta well.
Calamari (2/10) Breading: Grabe ka-kapal…. ng breadings.hahaha It overwhelmed the squid to the point na halos hindi na luto ang loob.
-Dipping Sauce: Disappointing. Parang straight from a cheap grocery bottle - mukhang pickled mayonnaise na pang-budget. I dont know kung ano tawag dun, kung tar tar sauce ito or what, pero di talaga masarap.
-Overall Taste: Sobrang ordinary. Nothing to write home about.
Ambiance and Comfort
-Temperature: Medyo mainit sa loob, which significantly affected our dining experience.
-Seating: Hindi comfortable, making it challenging to relax and enjoy the meal.
Value for Money Considering the price point of the dishes, particularly the steak, the overall value was poor. You can find better quality and larger portions at comparable or even lower prices elsewhere.
Final Verdict: 3/10 Our experience was underwhelming across the board. From the food quality to the ambiance, there's significant room for improvement.
Would We Return? Honestly? Probably not. The combination of mediocre food, uncomfortable setting, and poor value for money doesn't warrant a...
Read moreWe are currently doing a cafe hunting today and we decided to try dining in at Mon Cheri, finally.
First, there is no hassle during reservations via Facebook Page because they are very responsive. Also, they assigned person/s who you can look for once you arrived for smooth transactions. Upon entering, the place feels homey yet not spacious (unfortunately). It will be good for those who love aesthetic cafes and bakeries! Instagram worthy although the inside space is not that big. Gladly we were able to reserve seats inside.
The staff is very generous and accommodating! They are kind and also make the atmosphere light. It’s actually rare to encounter nice staff whenever we go cafe hunting.
The service was fast and smooth. I can say that their pastries and starters are very recommended! Servings are presentable and worth the price. The brownies are chewy and moist! We loved the croissant filled with nutella. 5/5 for their pastries.
Their drinks are good. I always order matcha-kinds whenever we go cafe hunting and I can say that they don’t disappoint. Their dirty matcha tastes good and strong. You could say that the ingredients are quality! I will try their matcha latte on our next visit.
Overall it’s a good experience to dine in here! Visiting during weekdays is recommended than weekends to...
