Edgardo’s Café — Restaurant in Nueva Ecija

Ordered matcha lattes, cafe mocha, and americano here. Their coffee is too watered down and the matcha latte does not taste like it has any matcha at all.

Aside from the taste of the drinks, service very leaves little to be desired.

They have al fresco tables outside but since we have a frolicsome kid with us who wanted to stay outside and and play, got a mcdo fries, and they do not have any customers, we asked if we can set up our mini tables and chairs outside. But the guard, instead of allowing us, told us to set up on the street where car passes by as we cannot set up in their parking lot. Take note the number of cars in their spacious parking lot. There were just two of us at that time and it’s near closing time already. Imagine our dismay. We would have understood it if they have a lot of customers but they do not have any. Just us and 2 other people. So ridiculous.

Aside from the fact that their drinks suck, their service sucks also. Safe to say, we will not be going...

"I've been there three times in the past few weeks and tried their pasta a few times—tiny portions, with 4 tiny shrimp & serving size small. The service was terrible every time. They don’t serve food at the same time, and they don’t even bring it to the right person. Once they drop off your food, they never come back to check on you, clear the table, or refill your water—you have to ask every time we need something."

"The generator was down in one of our visit, so it was already hot when we walked in. In the middle of our meal, they told everyone they would turn off the lights for a second, but it ended up lasting about 20 minutes. No discount was offered despite the lack of AC and having to eat in the dark. I would never come back or recommend this restaurant." I went to this place because I saw a Facebook post remarking on the salmon steak that they served. I ordered it and was satisfied with what they had to offer. However, I found some of their other food not as remarkable. For instance, the ribs were tough to chew and slice and the cakes were mediocre.

I'm not sure about other reviews because some said that the staff were rude, but I found them to be accommodating and nice, albeit I could sense that their attention was difficult to catch. The place itself was very cozy and pleasant, and the staff were attentive to pull down the shades when it seemed that the diners were uncomfortable from the sun's light.
