Overall Experience: 4-5 months ago, I would have confidently given this cafe a 5-star rating, but as of August 9, 2024, the food quality has noticeably declined.

The Heavenly Burger (HB): A few months ago, the Heavenly Burger was exceptional. The egg was perfectly runny, the meat was beautifully seasoned, and the fries were salted just right. The presentation was impressive, and for a price of 130 PHP, it was a 5/5. However, this time, it was a disappointment. The meat lacked seasoning—no salt or pepper to be found. The egg was greasy and not runny at all. The fries remained consistent, with the same perfect seasoning as before, but the presentation was disappointing, and the patty seemed to have shrunk in size.

Nachos: This was the biggest letdown. The menu promised veggies, but you could count the tiny, cubed green bell peppers on one hand. The taste was underwhelming. The chips were sweet corn chips, which clashed with the overly sweet sauce. The small bits of green peppers were barely noticeable, and the sauce's consistency was similar to that of the Burger Steak. It makes you wonder if they used the same pan for both.

Burger Steak: At 75 PHP, this was a 5/5 dish. It was much better than the HB, with a delicious sauce that was simply outstanding. The portion size for the price was much more satisfying compared to the HB, which costs 130 PHP.

Service: For those with social anxiety, the cashier was great—friendly, easy to talk to, and accommodating. However, communication between the cashier and the kitchen staff seemed lacking. It appeared that the cook served our food and was unsure of which dish belonged to whom. The cashier also didn’t ask for my name when I placed the order, which could have contributed to the confusion.

Recommendations:

Must-Try: Macchiato coffee (based on my experience 4-5 months ago), and their rice meals, which seem to cater well to the student crowd.

Avoid: Heavenly Burger (HB) and nachos.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is fantastic. The vibe and music make for a great dining experience.

Final Thoughts: We’ll be revisiting this cafe in a week or so, and I hope to update this rating with better news.

I hope this feedback helps you to recognize your lackings. We've been patronizing your coffee shop kasi we want to support locals but habang tumatagal, bumababa yung value ng food and service. In terms of food, Idk bakit sumasakit tiyan namin sa food lately and sa matcha milk, we requested na 20% percent sugar lang but sobrang tamis niya pa rin and iba na yung lasa parang nabibili na lang sa milktea shop yung lasa and may latak ng parang buhangin. In terms of service, sa staff lang medyo nakakaoffend in a way na bigla na lang kukunin yung table number without letting you know? nakakabastos lang naman. and atmosphere, yun langaw di lang man po hampasin kasi pagalagala...
