Kyoto Ramen Bar- Olongapo City — Restaurant in Olongapo

I dine in here just to taste ramen. Was unlucky today because it's raining. Well at least I ate ramen. Their ramen here is good, affordable because it's buy one take one (price will only differ if you buy signature + signature ramen, signature + premium ramen, or premium + premium ramen.) I ordered Shifudu seafood ramen for signature and Katsu ramen for premium, bought a matcha milk tea as well (match milk tea tastes good, didn't enjoyed it that much because it has a lot of ice). You can get free water but they serve it in a plastic clear cup ( I don't mind it though but it could be presentable). I love the ramen kudos to the maker. Cashier/host is very attentive, she deserves a raise lol. She takes the orders and also brings you the food, her multi tasking skills are good. The interior design of the restaurant is 4.0 out of 5, it does give you the feeling of Japan culture. Bring umbrellas with you when you go though so you won't end up showering in the rain. I definitely recommend...

we tried the buy 1 take 1 ramen but the broth isn't that good. the only thing that made it bearable was the corn that was in the broth, it made it tasteful.

service was okay, they're accommodating but they don't accept cards, they only accept cash.

The atmosphere was okay cause they were playing Eminem songs, and for me, that's good af. the thing is... if you're trying to replicate a proper ramen shop, you'll need to replicate the atmosphere too. I'll recommend some lo-fi type Japanese beats to help diners feel the vibe.

overall??? it's okay. but if you want some authentic ramen, SM Centrals food court ramen is the closest...

Food and water were served in disposable plastic containers n cups. The chicken karaage i ordered was sweet!!!??? The place is just too small. The smell of oil irritated my throat. The A/c was at 16 degrees. I was so cold. Looks like they liked it at that temp so after asking for the 2nd time to turn up the temp, they just turned down the thing in front of the a/c. Frustrating! The 4 ramen didnt come out at the same time. 2 came out first n when they were halfway to their ramen, i ended up walking to the counter to ask for the rest...
