We’ve been regular customers of Club United for a while now, and one of the things we loved most about it was how inclusive and family-friendly it was. It served as a refreshing alternative to the mall—a place where we could spend quality time together without the usual crowds and chaos.
This weekend, we returned hoping for the same experience, especially since our 4-year-old daughter was so excited to go swimming in this intense summer heat. To our surprise and disappointment, we were told we could no longer use the pool facilities—something we’ve done countless times before. Apparently, there has been a policy change: only those with gym memberships are now allowed to use the pool.
What’s frustrating is that there was absolutely no announcement about this change—not on their website, Instagram, or Facebook. While I understand that businesses are free to change their policies, basic courtesy and professionalism would call for proper communication. At the very least, a grace period should have been offered for regular guests who were unaware of the new rule. Even just allowing walk-ins a final visit, with the clear notice that it would be the last without a membership, would have shown consideration and respect.
Instead, we were turned away without any flexibility. My daughter was heartbroken and left in tears, and as a parent, that’s something that leaves a lasting impression.
Sadly, Club United no longer feels like the welcoming, family-friendly place it once was. In its effort to appear more exclusive, it has now come across as elitist and,...
Read moreOur family had a very bad experience for what we hoped would have been a memorable wedding of my mom-in-law and my stepfather-in-law. We booked the Mandalla Ballroom last April 21, 2024. I wasn’t that impressed by the venue contrary to their claim that it has an “elegant ambiance and impeccable service.” In fact, Club United’s venue coordinator was less than accommodating during pre-event meetings, not even allowing snacks for suppliers.
On the day of the event, we repeatedly asked, to the point of begging, if they could serve the food - even just the soup or appetizers - earlier, as the program finished sooner than expected. The venue coordinator, obviously a hardliner, did not accommodate any of our requests, instead blaming the program and everyone else. Worst part was that the food was served very late. The program was finished at 5:45pm, and they committed to serve everything all at once at EXACTLY 7pm. Then came 7:00, and half of the chafing dishes were empty. There were no attendants at the buffet area, and the VIPs all went hungry as they were served at 7:45pm with measly servings.
Needless to say, my parents were devastated and experienced extreme anxiety, since all their close friends and family were present and all went hungry. The food wasn’t even that good - my stomach actually grumbled when I went home that evening. Overall, I strongly DO NOT recommend this place to anyone of my friends...
Read moreLoved every bit of the food we ordered. We liked it spicy. We were served a hot meal and oh wow it tastes homey. We enjoyed it. Thank you
Mango lassi was soft to the palate it was delicious, mango shake was a bit sour and strong. Mutton biryani was amazing, the meat basically melts in the mouth. Paneer lababdar was also delicious, it compliments the spicy chicken tikka masala. The lababdar has a hint of sweetness to it. Combined with the masala, it gives this wonderful overall burst of flavor with the biryani.
Ambiance was beautiful, airy and just a lot of space. They offer more al fresco dining area than the Airconditioned part, and it's not too cold but its enough to keep you out from the heat. It's also in the middle of nowhere so it gives this kind of exclusivity vibe to it.
Overall would come back for more, maybe try the other cuisines they offer. Staff was warm, welcoming, and...
