[June 2024] Here's my daughter: Situated by the South National Highway on the hills of Sta. Monica is Cloud Cafe. It is a bright and airy spot, with an airconditioned area and an outdoor porch lounge. During the day, natural light streams through the tall glass windows. At night, it is cozily illuminated with warm light. The wooden tables, comfy chairs, free WiFi, and 24/7 operating hours make this an ideal study and meet-up space, the ambience pleasant and the music familiar. I believe students and "kids" like me would love to haunt this cafe regularly. However, even if the ambience is very youth- and student-friendly, the prices are not. Their meals are the typical cafe price (260 pesos for Bolognese; addt'l Php45 for a take-out box) which is reasonable, but their drinks are on the pricier end of how much young people are usually willing to spend for caffeine. Additionally, their iced drinks are only available in their XL cup, which adds 50 pesos to the set price. My 185 peso Spanish latte ended up being 235 pesos, which I wouldn't usually be willing to spend if it were not for the fact that I was on a date with my dad. And that he treated me. Hehe. I think that is the appeal of Cloud Cafe. Their drinks taste alright and are pretty pricey, but the "vibe" here makes up for it. It's a place you could happily lose track of time in chatting, working, lounging, and spending time with people important to you. So yeah, maybe once in a while, that may be something worth spending for.

Found this 24/7 coffee shop in Puerto Princesa! 🫶 This is just 10-15 minutes away from the PPS airport. This place is for those who wants to chill and work at the same time as they have sockets around the seats while sipping a good cup of coffee. ☕️ Their staff is very accommodating, food is also good, wifi is available, and price is very reasonable. Highly recommended for freelancers like me!

This place is for those who wants to chill and work at the same time as they have sockets around the seats while sipping a good cup of coffee. ☕️ Their staff is very accommodating, food is also good, wifi is available, and price is very reasonable. Highly recommended for freelancers like me!
