This review is long overdue -- we last went here before the pandemic and it is only now, almost 3 years later, that we got the chance to visit Pizzeria Roma again. Suffice it to say that we were pleasantly surprised the last time and we were just as pleased with our experience again here today. Just to manage expectations: this is a small family-run pizzeria and Pension House along Wescom Road in Puerto Princesa City. A little bit off the beaten path and away from the more touristy areas of the City. Expect more of a homey ambience. Aside from the friendly and welcoming Italian host, the first thing you'll see upon entering is the brick pizza oven, so you know they at least got that right. As expected, the pizza crust came out perfectly thin, crisp and crunchy, just the way pizza should be. Menu choices are varied and plentiful, as far as pizza and pasta are concerned, so there's sure to be something for everyone, including vegetarian options (no puttanesca, though). I don't know if this was due to the pandemic or the supply chain problems caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, or just because we were in remote Palawan, but one can tell that some of the ingredients used were not top-shelf. Still, they were able to make do with what was available locally and all 4 of us had a great, deliciously full meal. We tried the Pasta Arriabiata, Funghi e Pancetta, pizza Capricciosa and the vegetarian pizza. Everything was flavorful and they were generous with the pizza toppings. Maybe even a little too generous. I'm not complaining, though. Total bill amounted to just a little over php1.2k, and we still had some leftover to bring home. Great value for the price. Will return again and again. Thanks, Pizzeria Roma!

The pizza is probably the best I had in my life, and I consider myself a person who had already tryed pizzas in hundreds of places. If you really look for a good pizza in Puerto Princesa do not even think it twice. Just go to Roma. I think I had 4 pizzas already in 3 days. And I will probably order one more tonight. It is simply amazing. New edit. : I just spent a week in town with my wife and we had... Probably 10-12 pizzas. All of them were amazing. We also rented a room with them and a motorbike. Everything is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. We will be back in a few months. 🍕🍕🍕

We ordered two pizzas - spicy sausage and Margherita pizza. Priced between 300-450k for 11 inch and up to 600k or so for 16 inch pizza, prices were very reasonable! Pizzas were absolutely delicious with the best pizza bases all cooked in a wood fire pizza oven. The old guy who runs it was super lovely and comes from Italy. There was some music, not too loud. No air conditioning but there are plenty of fans here! If you’re going to eat here though, make sure to bring exact money as they didn’t really have much change.

Best pizza in Palawan ! and the owner is a gentleman with a great smile, but Lynn (waitress)... is a real loose cannon...

She was not present when serving us, didn't acknowledge us, rude and arrogant tone to her, and even made people move seats so they were closer when serving them (these guests were not happy)... Just lazy...

Imagine Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmares - the food is excellent, but there is a battle axe in there spreading toxicity and will push all customers away ...

Remove Lynn and you have a 10/10 * business ... With Lynn I'm afraid it...
