Bueno Barks — Restaurant in Quezon City

Bueno Barks is -that- place to get handcrafted chocolates. It's a shame I only found them this Christmas season when it was really busy, because I was more focused on buying gifts than getting some for myself - but maybe also a good thing because I would seriously binge on these given the chance. (I might just, come the new year.) Food-wise, the barks and other items here (clusters, truffle bites, etc.) are ALL so good and they were a hit with everyone I gifted them to, not to mention with myself, hehe. My personal favorite are the Biscoff truffle bites (as much as I'd love to gatekeep this because they're amazing and I need more to myself).

Service-wise, even with the busy Christmas season, I had no problem with ordering and getting my orders. They got back to me in a timely manner when I'd reach out, and always let me know when they'd get back to me if they were particularly busy. The chocolates always ready on the date and time I selected upon ordering, and the packaging was top notch.

Atmosphere-wise, I've gone to their kiosks when they had them at Christmas markets. Even when they're drowning in customers, they're as personable offline as they are online. I can't wait for their slots to open up again so I...

Pistachio kataifi: SUPER overrated hence overpriced. The chocolate is too sweet you can’t even taste the chocolate and you cannot taste the pistachio at all in the filling.

Edit from 2 to 4 stars due to owner reaching out unexpectedly and addressing my feedback head on. My review is my personal preference however the effort to ask how to make amends and actual action afterwards is really commendable. Such a great experience, sobrang sarap talaga! Each flavor was a different experience. The dark chocolate had the perfect balance of bitterness and sweet filling, while the milk chocolate was my favorite (sweet tooth here 😋). The hazelnut was also a huge surprise, really unique, and honestly even better than the “bueno” brand it reminds you of.
