I was raised to never leave a single grain on the plate, yet after two spoonfuls of their so-called dirty rice, I had to stop. That alone should say everything. What makes it worse is that no one bothered to inform us that dirty rice was the default, nor were we given the option to choose steamed rice instead. That lack of transparency feels careless at best and misleading at worst.
The chicken fingers were almost insulting; it's closer in taste and texture to kikiam than chicken. Honestly, I’d rather have had kikiam; at least it would have tasted better cooked. The wings, supposedly the house specialty, were just as underwhelming. If you can’t deliver on the item your restaurant is named after, then what’s the point?
Even the drinks and water service felt like a downgrade. My blueberry cooler arrived in a flimsy paper cup not exactly the standard you’d expect when paying restaurant prices. Meanwhile, the service water came with a single ice cube and no pitcher, which turned a basic courtesy into an awkward guessing game. If that’s “protocol,” then management needs to seriously rethink its priorities.
The saddest part? The appetizers gave us hope. The nachos were decent, the pasta was enjoyable, and for a moment we thought the Grand Slam for Two was worth it. But the main dishes were such a flop that the whole meal ended on a low note.
This experience showed me a restaurant that feels like it has stopped trying. Buffalo Wings N’ Things can’t survive on its name alone. Until the food quality, service practices, and basic respect for the customer are fixed, I’d suggest looking elsewhere if you want good wings or even just a...
