This is another hidden treasure in the Quezon City area. I intentionally looked for it as i read reviews about it and i got curious. And indeed, after reaching the place, it reminded me of tagaytay or Sol y Viento in Laguna. It is because the place is deep inside a Village and it's inside a building. Then you go up, and you get a panoramic view of the city. There are 2 other known restos inside and so i was not intimidated to go inside this "mall like" place. The food...The food...Ah yes...! I browsed through the menu, which are also familiar, as they are native. I ordered their kare-kare, and it tasted just right specially with the bagoong. The meat included were lechon style. I was looking for the more "peanuty taste". But i guess, it's just their style. But i like it anyway. I also tried the Chicken inasal. It was grilled to perfection. Not dry, nor overly done. And the meat is tender. Never tasted inasal this way. You've got to taste it yourself to see what i mean. To sum it up, it's a very nice experience and a nice ambiance as well. But be ready to spend. Not because it's expensive. But because the servings are for sharing. Bring not only money but companions as well...😂. That's what i'm going to do next time because i find their menu tempting. We ordered Pancit, but it was disappointingly lacking in ingredients, mostly consisting of liver. The Beef BBQ, at its high price point, only came with three small pieces and lacked tenderness. Fried chicken was poorly cooked, lacking in flavor and taste.. mas masarap pa lutong bahay.

LOCATION: Fika Manila is located at the top of the Hill, overlooking din sa Marikina yung location.
FOODS: A must try dish: Abodong Manok! Super panalo. Masarap din yung coffee nila.
AMBIENCE: I loved the set up, they have books displayed din and free of use. Very relaxing yung ambiance!
Quiet place perfect for afternoon coffee/tea while reading book.
STAFFS: Very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
