Pho Hoa/MyThai - Capitol — Restaurant in Quezon City

NEVER AGAIN.

Arrived 11:30am, and had to seat ourselves as no waiter was there to assist.

Placed order at 11:40am. Had to settle for items, as those we wanted to order were all not available. Was advised of 20min wait time for food to be served.

12:20pm, no food served yet.

12:30pm, did a follow up. No certain response.

12:40pm, I went to the counter. Turns out my food has not yet been started on. I asked for an estimate on what time it will be ready, no concrete answer.

After 1 hour of waiting, two other customers following up behind me (they have been waiting for 40-50mins as well), and some walking out, still no food. Saw the staff asking the kitchen on how long it would take, but kitchen was not responding properly. At one point, I saw how the kitchen was “nagdadabog” pa by closing the window on the counter staff.

Decided to cancel my order instead. Wasted my time.

Please avoid...

First time to try their desserts here and really disappointed about the quality. Strawberry trifle looks like (and tastes like) it was kept in the fridge for ages while the Green Pearl with ice cream (indicated as their best seller) was nothing but colored sago with crushed ice topped with vanilla ice cream. If not for the vanilla ice cream, it would have no taste at all! Not worth the price.

Got our standard, no-fail orders, the large vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken strips and the fresh vermicelli rolls with shrimp and pork. We added a large bowl of seafood pho and the fried version of their shrimp rolls. The accompanying dipping sauces for the fried shrimp rolls and for the vermicelli salad bowl are way too diluted this time. Don't know why.
