Romantic Baboy - Crossroad Tandang Sora — Restaurant in Quezon City

We had a dinner here for my mom's bday celeb. But after sitting and cooking out food, we needed to ask for more condiments and more food since there's 9 of us, we receive a cold shoulder from most of the crew they are ignoring us on purpose when we try to politely call them for our orders. Reason maybe they're tired cause its around 8pm at that time, but still its not a valid reason for that, its still their job and we paid full price and we expect professionalism from them.

Food is not so nice as well. Kimchi servings needs to be requested first before you receive it. Side dishes were obviously not fresh enough to be good. You need to raise and keep calling them out until i guess the manager is there to receive us. Dont know their issues but they need to fix it.

Overall this has been the worst experience we had in terms of samg dine in. Tbh this really annoys me since this should have been a great night for my mom, lucky she is too nice to not complain about the service. I hope they fix their ventilation and crew members being too tired, resulting to hiding and ignoring...

The food and service are good. After we went inside, the crew advised us that there would be a corkage (half the price of the drinks that we brought in) since we brought 1 liter of water (25 pesos) and a small coke (15 pesos), we said it's fine since the corkage would only cost around 20 pesos.

It was around 8:50 pm. The crew approached us and asked about our last order since they were about to close and gave us the bill. We were charged 50 pesos for the corkage, and what's more disappointing is when I talked and explained my side to the crew, she answered me with no manners at all. I wasn't done talking yet when she answered me back, "Ayon sabi ng TL namin, siya kasi nagbibigay ng price."

Ang ending, mas mahal pa yung corkage kesa sa binili namin na drinks. And wala bang proper standard kung magkano ang corkage na icharge? Kung ano lang maisip ni TL ganon? 😅

Seriously, even water may corkage pa? We brought water cause we are not used to drinking water kahit saang restaurant pa, it's for our own...

As a solo diner, they made sure I get the same service and treatment as everyone else.

Kudos to Marcus for being attentive when I was just checking the posters outside and he explained the specials and promo right there so I had to try that cheesy tteokbokki samgyup combination 🧀🥩

I always love to come in romantic baboy branches just for the smokey duck and they have it here. Great service for a busy place. They take last orders up to 10:15 or 10:20pm so just be sure to visit early.

Oh they mindfully offer to change your grill too. I'll be back to eat here again 🤭
