I definitely do not recommend your branch at SM Cherry Antipolo. There is a clear need for staff improvement and proper training—especially for Ms. Sophia, who failed to attend to our needs properly and made me feel as if I was in the wrong when I raised a valid concern.

We dined in yesrerday between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM. I noticed that my chicken seemed quite bloody, so I politely requested for it to be cooked well-done. I didn’t raise my voice or complain because I was hungry, and I had no intention of making an issue about it.

However, what really triggered my disappointment was when Ms. Sophia came back and told me that the chicken was not undercooked but just “juicy.” It felt like she was indirectly calling me ignorant—as if I couldn’t tell the difference between blood and juice coming from the chicken. I didn’t ask for any explanation, I simply wanted the food to be properly cooked. But instead of acknowledging the mistake, she insisted on defending it, even though it was very clear that the chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Then, I saw her return to the line cook and, though I couldn’t hear everything, I felt very uncomfortable with how she described my concern—as if she was mocking what I said. I know what I saw; I’m not blind, and I know the difference between raw blood and juiciness.

On a positive note, I’d like to commend Nicole from the same branch. She was patient and accommodating while we were ordering, even though it was already close to closing time. She made us feel welcome, especially since we had a child with us, and she showed no sign of irritation or frustration.

I didn’t want to escalate this issue, but I believe the branch manager needs to be aware of how some staff members are handling guests. Proper attitude, respect, and basic customer service go a long way—especially when explaining sensitive issues like...

It’s my second time here and service gets better and better! Sophia and Che-Che who assisted me were so amazing. My second visit I was with my mom and since they’re the only (early) restaurant open. My mom has dietary restrictions therefore we have her own food and Che-Che was so kind and accommodating of what my mom needed.

Honestly, it felt like a 5 star treatment. I kid you not!
