WHAT A FEAST!

It was our first time in San Vicente and this place was recommended by Smile Magazine’s cover of the province. They were so right about Mango Bar Restaurant.

Honestly, this place was just fantastic. The atmosphere, the setting, the drinks, and the food. We ordered the fish ceviche (kinilaw) and it was the best one my mom and I ever had. It was perfectly chunky and flavourful.

The fried sweet and sour lapu lapu was just brilliant. I highly recommend it. It’s exactly what ocean to table is. Then we had the nilaga cuz what’s a Filipino feast without one and it was flavourful “lutong bahay” in the best kind.

The staff were also sooo warm and accommodating despite the brown-out. We all just laughed about it. I can see how much care, love and thought each dish and service was worth.

This beats all fancy restaurants. I would definitely be coming back and recommending this amazing place...

This restaurant is worst restaurant I have ever seen in San Vicente we ordered pizza online At 6pm and we waited like one hour before calling them after we called them idiot girl pick ed and said pizza is still in Oven that more time we again waited till 10pm then we gave up and slept without eating coz was too late to goto other restaurants . waitress are like snails they keep lying whenever we order food And most painful moment I once ordered fish soup but they brought fish that is like someone first swimming in soup with very small fish ,cold coup with a lot of bamboo forest leaves .crazy management and don't try this...

Arrived 11:33 and it’s 12:53 and our shake finally arrived. However our food has not arrived :( We were forewarned but what’s odd is other groups got their food before us. Completely we were forgotten as we had to follow up a couple of times to get our watermelon shake. 12:57 our food arrived and my chicken pork adobo only had chicken and it was sadly undercooked and bloody. The fish was delish tho so we just shared that and returned the undercooked adobo. Nice ambience but...

Mango Bar is a must try when in San Vicente town proper. The seafoods were divine and were cooked perfectly. We had ceviche / kinilaw, sinigang, and sweet and sour lapu-lapu which was really good! For my drink, I had buko (coconut) shake. The vibes of the place was also nice! A nice stop indeed in the peaceful town of San Vicente. Thank you for the great experience! Looking forward to coming back to Mango Bar soon.
