FOOD SAFETY VIOLATION & NEGLIGENCE AT JOLLIBEE SAN CARLOS

(This store doesn’t deserve any stars at all!)

I am extremely frustrated with what happened at Jollibee San Carlos Town Centre on January 29, 2025, at around 7:15 PM. I came in with a group of 7, 4 kids under 12 & 3 adults. We're expecting a decent meal but instead, we experienced one of the worst and most irresponsible food service practices I’ve ever encountered.

We ordered 7 Super Meals with drinks and ice cream yet the staff mistakenly gave our order to another customer. They had to redo it, which should’ve been a quick fix but instead, we ended up waiting for almost an hour, with starving kids, mind you. When the food finally arrived, it was completely unacceptable.

The spaghetti and burger steak were cold, like they had just come from the fridge. The ice cream was rushed and half-melted. Only the chicken and rice were warm because they had been sitting in the warmer.

At this point, it was not just about bad service but this was a HEALTH & FOOD SAFETY issue. Serving improperly stored or reheated food is a serious health risk, especially for children. The staff were clearly rushing because it was near closing time but that’s no excuse to serve unsafe, low quality food.

When I complained, they made us wait another 30 minutes while they're going to prepared a new batch. By this time, the kids were already beyond hungry & the staff were cleaning up around us as if they just wanted us out of there! I'm so frustrated, we decided to take the food to go since there was no point in staying inside and eat any longer!

When we finally opened the food, the burger steak was missing. At that point, it was too late to complain because the mall had already closed. We ended up eating in the parking lot at 8:17 PM. We're all so tired, hungry & VERY disappointed.

And now, this is where it gets serious! The next morning, 2 of the kids woke up with stomach aches & vomiting. This is beyond unacceptable! This is a clear health hazard! As a nurse, I know how critical proper food handling is & what Jollibee San Carlos Town Centre did was a complete violation of basic food safety standards!!

Jollibee always advertises itself as “Bida ang Saya” & "Bida ang BATA" kid-friendly and all, as you claimed, but based on this experience, the STAFFS clearly DOESN'T CARE about children’s HEALTH & SAFETY! This is gross negligence and I will not let this slide.

I have proofs & receipts backing my complaint and if no immediate action is taken, I will escalate this directly to the Department of Health. Food safety is not something to...

The tables remain unattended for quite some time. Flies swarm both the tables and chairs even the floor. No one seems to care. Very unappetizing. Order takers does not even bother to ask for the happy plus card. Disgusting and...
