I discovered Mudita Glamping Resort through Facebook, and their responsiveness via messenger for inquiries and reservations was commendable. Upon arrival around the 2 PM check-in time, the friendly crew welcomed us warmly and even provided an umbrella to shield my girlfriend from the sun. The parking space was ample.
We booked the "Tropical Tent Superior", designed for a maximum of two persons. The hut/tent/room was spacious, well-ventilated, and impeccably clean for a kubo-style outdoor setting. The large, soft pillows and pleasantly scented sheets added to our comfort. Snacks were neatly arranged on a shelf, and beverages were stocked in the refrigerator (to be paid separately upon check-out, but at reasonable prices).
The resort is nestled in a remote area, offering peaceful and truly rural vibes. The symphony of various bird chirps and the refreshing breeze create a tranquil ambiance. However, it's worth noting that there's no mobile data reception here. To compensate, the resort provides Wi-Fi access for check-in guests. They use Starlink, ensuring excellent connectivity throughout the property, although the speed hovers around 9 Mbps.
The separate hut for dining, "Trattoria Altrove", served as our dinner spot and also hosted our complimentary breakfast. I'll likely review the restaurant separately.
For pet owners, Mudita Glamping Resort has a dedicated dog play area.
The infinity pool area takes center stage, offering plenty of poolside seating, a relaxing hammock, and even a small bar that seamlessly blends with the kubo-themed surroundings.
A nice touch throughout the resort is the thoughtful placement of umbrellas. Whether you're at the reception, restaurant, in your room, or even using the common bathroom, these umbrellas provide much-needed shade. They come in handy when walking through uncovered areas, shielding guests from the sun or unexpected rain showers.
Now, let's talk about my personal highlight—the common bathroom. Picture an outdoor jungle shower reminiscent of the popular villas in Bali. The experience of showering amidst nature is both refreshing and invigorating.
While we didn't get to experience the wellness offerings, such as massages, due to our late dinner plans (the therapists had already gone home by 6 PM), I recommend that interested guests inform the reception in advance.
Before checking out, we encountered an unexpected power outage that temporarily disrupted operations. Unfortunately, this meant no post-checkout bath and cash-only payments. We're unsure if this type of outage is common, but it's worth noting.
When driving out of the resort, the owner along with the crew all lined up by the gate to give us a warm & hospitable send off.
Overall, our stay was delightful & well worth the promotional price we paid. The remote location allowed us to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings. Mudita Glamping Resort offers a unique blend of tranquility, comfort, and...

I enjoyed my stay here immensely! We booked one of the superior tents. It has an inner enclosed room with a low king bed made of bamboo, and the bed was very comfortable. The inner room is mainly occupied by the bed with about 2 feet clearance from all sides. We stayed on the veranda most of the time for meals and outdoors for free time. Tulle nets provided privacy and also kept part of the tent from flying insects. We love the food served in large plates and ample large servings. Breakfast and coffee were delicious! The complimentary pizza and pasta were more than enough for our dinner, and we really, really loved the pizza!
We roamed the property and explored their amenities with one of their attendants/employees to see what we liked to do. Later we went swimming. I do love the freshwater pool! But one has to be careful with the slippery surfaces. There was a poolside bar to enjoy a drink or hang around the loungers. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage, kudos to Daisy! Karuna spa was a very private yet charming corner of the property. There was a sauna, too.
The shared bathroom for the tents may be a few steps away, but the enclosed open air shower was a delight!
Despite having rice paddies around the property, there are little mosquitoes and bugs except those that are harmless anyway, and the elevation lent cool breeze during our stay.
Trattoria Altrové provides lunch and dinner services for walk-in diners, too. And for a little more privacy, meals can also be served in quaint little huts away from the dining hall. Highly recommended restaurant!
I will definitely come back! It provided us a really wonderful...
Read moreIt was supposedly an easy 5 star, but multiple SHARDS OF BROKEN GLASS sunk my experience.
We ordered the cucumber, ginger, lemonade and the glass jar has a chip at the top. It looked sharp so I told the server about it and she took it back. I assumed at this point that she was going to give me a new one. I proceeded with the very delicious food. Towards the end of the meal I felt something sharp in my mouth. When i spat it out, it was a decent size piece of glass! This really ruined my experience and was extremely disappointed. I wanted to rave about it and invite my friends over. But why would I? When we complained all we got was a “sorry”.
Again! I really liked this place initially… my biggest complaint if the broken glass didn’t happen would have been...
